I had an extremely old lexus that finally gave out on me! After talking to a very good friend of mine, I decided to take a look at Lindsey lexus in alexandria. On the first visit, I saw an suv that i LOVED but was out of my price range. I was assured by the sales manager that he would find me the car I wanted at the price i was looking for. The onloy thing I had to give up was the color. A few weeeks later Ace called to tell me the good news, he had found me a car. Not only was it loaded with everything I wanted, it was for at amazing price. He even gave me more then I thought he would for my very old lexus. The transaction was super easy and i drove off in about an hour and a half with my new car. The sales person has emailed me several times to check in with me (Ray) and make sure i was happy with my car. I have since recommened the dealership to my business partner. She also found a wonderful Lexus that she is extremly thrilled to have. In addition I sent another friend of mine into see ace to buy a car when his totally died and he was so happy to find a used hybrid in his price range. When My fiance needs a car, he will no doubt be buying one at Lindsey lexus. I highly recommend ( and have already done so by word of mouth) this dealership. More
This was the single worst experience I have ever had with a dealership BAR NONE. Their customer service was a clinic in everything you should not do. The salesman upon meeting me, noted I have a cough and refused to shake my hand. It was inexplicable to me why he made a point of telling me that but he did. He was pretty abrasive and direct, and told me several times not to xxxxxxxx him while I quoted prices from other dealers (even though they could easily have been looked up online and were simple facts). He refused to share with me a sheet of paper showing all the used car listings I had because he didnt want me to touch his paper since I had a cough. After a few mins of back and forth he allowed me to see the paper, and after I was done with it he put it back on his desk and sprayed lysol on it. They LIED (this was done by Ace Rezai) to me about the car I was interested in and claimed it had already been sold (when it hadnt). I found another vehicle that seemed absolutely astounding in price and options, and so I asked if that was available and the salesman (aaron taylor) confirmed it was and indicated to me it was standing outside. We took it for a test drive and I once again asked Mr. Taylor if he was sure of the mileage (6000) miles, the price and the options on the car and his response to me was to never ever ask him if he's sure because he's been doing this for 20 years. I liked the car and told him I would take it. We started with the paper work and halfway through he came back to me and told me (after his little self assuredness statement) that he was wrong and the car actually had 48,000 miles on it, instead of 6. Ace Rezai was in the background watching all this. They offered to make it up to me and said they would give me another car priced at 34,000 for the original 29,000 to make it up to me however this car lacked many options and was not what i was interested in. The next morning a salesman from the dealership called me up and said the original car (an infiniti) I had been interested in and drove there for was not sold and I could come see it. Before returning, I called up Ace Rezai and asked since he offered to make up the difference by giving me a 34000 car for 29, if i could just have the 32,000 infinit for 29. He said absolutely not and told me if i was planning to offer anything less than 32,800 not to bother coming to the dealership. We argued back and forth and I made clear his lack of professionalism was unacceptable, and in response to me he stated that he didnt want to do business with me. I called up the GM of the dealership to complain about the conduct of his employees, who told me he would speak to them and get back in touch with me. AFter two days I called him again and left a message but never heard back from him. This was one of the most frustrating and disrespectful experiences I have ever had at a dealership. They were rude, incompetent and would not know customer service if it slapped them in the face. I strongly recommend you go to Lexus in Rockville. They are far better at their handling of customers and do not try to price gouge them at every turn. Remember these names, Ace Rezai and Aaron Taylor, you might not get handled as badly as I did but it's pretty much a fact they are going to try to gouge you for every penny you have. More
They resolved my 2 back seat belt problems. Dave Jones went out of his way to make sure I was taken care of. He immediately set up an appointment and ordered my parts for the seat belts. Lindsay Lexus makes all right in the end. I was not happy with the salesperson, Kevin Johnson, and would not work with him again. But Ace Rezai (the manager) made things right. While the salesman was very considerate, they try to low-ball my trade-in (a Lexus). One would think trading in a Lexus at a Lexus dealer would be you the best deal? Not at Lindsay. Salesman called me a couple of weeks later to let me know that they sold the vehicle I was interested in. What was the point of that? Got the best deal at Lexus of Richmond! Great Sales Manager, Shawn Gusti, who gave me the best trade-in out of 7 dealerships from NJ to VA! And I got a great price on the new vehicle. More
I was shopping for a good deal on a 2010 RX350 AWD and started my search at my local dealer, Lindsay Lexus. The sales manager had offered a fair price one evening, but then the next day when I was ready to complete the deal he denied that he ever offered me that price. When I confronted him about it and tried to walk out the door, he came chasing after me and admitted he lied. I was hoping we could put that behind us, but the terrible customer service continued as they tried to talk me out of ordering the vehicle with the options I wanted, and then would not even match the price of the other local dealers. Lindsay also adds on all sorts of fees for advertising and processing, and a local tax which the customer is not required by law to pay. I would not recommend buying a new vehicle from this dealer. Instead try Lexus of Rockville, which gave me great customer service and a better price with no superfluous fees or taxes. More
