I went into Lindsay just to look at a vehicle I saw online. Ended up driving home in it! I went to several dealerships beforehand and Lindsay by far gave me the best deal! The whole team was so easy to work with. I would highly recommend them to anyone. More

I am 70 years old and can count in one hand the number of times I have purchased a vehicle at a dealership. I bought my last car, a Crown Victoria, in September 2003. The car had 101,000 miles and in excellent condition. I had been following the Taurus for several weeks at Carfax and was the car I really wanted to buy. After several attempts to reach the dealership by phone on 4/12, I finally reached the receptionist who transferred me to Brandon Rice. We agreed to an appointment at 9 the following. (I have a great distaste of dealership salesperson) Mr Rice was nice. He greeted me; we took the Taurus for a ride; I liked it. I was ready to buy it. Then, he slapped a piece of paper with numbers in front of me. The numbers did not make sense considering what I had seen in Carfax for both the CV and the Taurus. I did not want to get into a distasteful argument so I asked for my CV keys and walked out. I was followed by Mr. Avan Harris who listened to what I had to say and cajoled me back to the desk. They showed a new sheet with more reasonable numbers. I looked them over and agreed to them. I was rather surprised at the $1,595 for the 172 point inspection. If I wanted the car, I had to pay it (pure profit). So, I signed all the papers. I was ready to get the car to get to my grandson’s birthday party. Mr Rice informed that he was going to fill the gas tank and would be right back. He returned in a matter of minutes. I drove away. After a few miles, I noticed that I had less than half a thank of gas (surprise). OH! Only 1 key fob available. That is all we have. For that $1595, they could have insured that there were 2 key fobs available. When I got home, I looked for the Factory Code in the owner’s manual (need it for keyless entry). It was not there. So, on Monday, I called the dealership and Mr. Rice directed me me to the Service Dept to obtain the code. The service writer made an appointment for Tuesday at 1. He informed me that they had to connect to the Ford computer and get a new code, and that it would take about 1 hour. I was looking at another expense, one that should have been addressed by then $1595 172 point inspection. I Googled How to obtain Factory Code for Fords, and received an answer In seconds. I found out the FC can be found next to the Fuse Box above the brake pedal. Sure enough, there it was, and it works excellently. It took me less than 1 minute to figure this out. Wouldn’t it have been nice of the service writer to give me that bit of information instead of asking me to commit 3 hours of my time plus the cost of getting the FC. It is the small things that count. This is not Blue Oval service. More

Then I booked online for Saturday as, I work Monday to Friday. I went on Saturday to drop off my car, then they told me they only do oil changes and minor things but not services on the weekend and I have to bring back my car on Monday. I drooped off my car on Monday, after a few hours they texted me and tell me my car is in a good hand and they will update me. I called back letter on to check if I can pick up my car after work but they keep directing me to a voice mail. I called back on Tuesday, After a 4th attempt I was able to talk to someone and after I told him not to put me through a voice mail, he cut me off and send me to a voicemail. I left a voicemail and the technician Mick called me back on the next day. He said he is working on it and will update me but he never did. I called back before I left work to check if I can pick up but there was no answer. After a repeated attempt someone responds and he was relatively helpful. He told me they couldn't figure out the problem and asked me to stop by early in the morning the next day. After a while he called back and told me they figure it out and they ordered the parts and my car will be ready by Friday. Today is Friday I called at list 3 times and I still haven't heard back from them. More

When someone specifically asks if there is anything wrong or any issues they should know about the vehicle especially a dealer, you would expect honesty and clarity. When I took the vehicle home problems started to arise that seemed to be hidden from me. Spoke to sales person and got the response wel you bought used and it’s “as is”. Usually there is some kind of documentation stating that it is “as is”. I got nothing or signed nothing stating this. I didn’t recieve a color of Carfax, I felt like I was being pushed out the door once everything was being agreed on. I explained to them that J am not asking for favors, for anything free, or for money. I just want the issues resolved. I was told to bring it by the dealer to check it out. I asked am I gauranteed this will be fixed. I was told that there is no guarantee. Mind you I don’t live in the area and it takes me about 1.5 hours to get to the dealer. Needless to say won’t be going back there or won’t reccomend them either. More
A Sunday afternoon I went to Lindsay after checking out a dealer in VA. That dealer I had contacted to look at two cars and they peppered me with e-mails saying the cars were prepped and waiting for me to drive. I got there and they couldn’t find the cars on the lot. After searching, they were both in the shop getting cleaned but that took 30 minutes - a waste of time and hardly a selection. My wife had been on-line and suggested Lindsay since they seemed to have several cars of interest. I called them and they said “see Dabo when you arrive, he will be waiting for you to show the cars.” When I arrived, Dabo was busy but in about 5 minutes we hooked up. Dabo and I test drove several cars, he was patient with no pressure, just wanted me to look and review cars I was interested in. This part went well. It wasn’t until I got to the negotiating piece that I began to understand the tactics of how Lindsay advertised their internet pricing. I thought that was a little deceiving, but understood they are in the business to make money. I bought the car thanks to Dabo being a good representative for Lindsay. I hope the service is as professional as Dabo was. More
