February 2023 I bought a brand new Chevy Trailblazer. Loved the vehicle and was very happy. Three days into driving it, the in car display started pixelating and not working properly. I called the sales person and scheduled to bring it in to the service department. They scheduled me for the following week. I brought it in and was told the issue was that GM needed to push out an update for the software. I looked online, GM is aware of the problem, and the software update is due in 'late 2023'. I had the car for a little more than a week. I asked that they take the car back, because I had just paid a lot of money for a new car and they are telling me it will be broken for several months while waiting on the update. The finance manager comes out and tells me 'sorry, you are stuck with it, it is a used car now (1200 miles). I asked if they would replace the display, in case it was just a display problem. Service dept says, 'no, we can't just throw parts at it, you will have to just wait on the update. So, I am driving a brand new car that I cannot use the navigation system on and Lindsay is not willing to do anything about it. I am hiring a lawyer. More
