Unfortunately, the concern on your vehicle is associated with a software update from General Motors, it is not a repair that can be completed solely in a dealership Service Department. We too must wait for the resolution to come from General Motors. We are empathetic to your frustration and hope GM pushes the update soon.

To be empathetic would be to replace the vehicle and not send out a customer service representative telling me they would either fix the vehicle on the spot or take the vehicle back so I can move on and get a vehicle that is not broken. And when push comes to shove and we realize it will take months for the update to come out, send out a little rude finance officer to argue with me and literally puff out his chest like he wants to pick a fight with me when I say I am not taking a broken vehicle for months. Then he gets even ruder and uses some off the wall story about a soccer team losing a championship to compare it to Lindsay Chevrolet selling me a broken vehicle and forcing me to drive it. He said if my team scored on the opposing team because the goalie was not ready, would it be fair for me to allow the other team to drive down the field and score uncontested??? What??? How does that even make sense? He also said if I would have brought the vehicle back a day or two sooner before the tags had been issued, they could have done something. I have a record of text messages I sent to the salesperson within 4 days of purchase (February 13) and was not scheduled with service department until February 23, is that MY FAULT???. I was lied to by customer service, treated less than human by your little rude finance officer, and hung out to dry by your dealership, FORCED to drive a broken new vehicle I paid thousands of dollars for that Lindsay Chevrolet sold me. GM did not sell me the car, an AWFUL DEALERSHIP CALLED LINDSAY CHEVROLET DID. It is the dealership’s responsibility to handle customers correctly. This won’t be the last you hear from me. If I could, I would give 0 stars.
