I bought a nice used Lexus RX350 at the dealership. The salesman pushed the sale of a maintenance and service contract hard. I was told these contracts were to cover ALL scheduled maintenance including oil changes and all fluids gaskets etc. which I agreed to since this is my wife's car and i wanted to make future maintenance and service work easy for her to get completed, and some peace of mind knowing the car would get the service it needs, and that it was pre-paid for. At 30,000 miles she took the car in for service. In addition to the oil change, they flushed the brake system and serviced the front and back differentials - both they said were "recommended" by Lexus and yet they charged her $500 for the extra work which I believe should and was to be covered by my prepaid service contract. Either the service tech was seriously Up selling unnecessary service or I was seriously mislead or lied to by the salesman. My advice. Don't Trust anyone in the car business, or at least this car business. More

On the website the car w 7 minutes agoNEW I bought a 2019 Lexus RX 300 hybrid. 75% of my experience was great but the last 25% was pretty unpleasant. On the website the car was listed at 16000 miles. The evening of purchase, I realized it was instead 19000 miles - an error probably made by just transposing a number when entered into the system. Upon notifying the salesman that the mileage was incorrect on the sale documentation, he indicated that I must have been mistaken about the posting and the paperwork and I should be happy it was still low mileage. When my husband called, they acknowledged the error and vowed to "make it right" which was giving us two oil changes as part of a maintenance package that we had declined at the time of purchase. The man handling the financing let us know that his "girls" would fix the paperwork It's 2021! it's condescending and sexist to refer to female colleagues as "girls". I should have double checked the mileage so that's my fault. It's a great car - I'm not unhappy about the vehicle but I wish the customer service was better. If you're a woman who has the resources to purchase a Lexus, consider trying Infinity, Audi or Volvo. Maybe it won't be much different but it can't be much worse. If I end up buying a Lexus in the future, I'll at least seek out a different Lexus dealer. More
7.12.21. I visited your service department today for a scheduled oil change at 2pm. Which I made last Monday over the phone. I was there for 2 hrs and 20 minutes. I have never had this kind of wait as I have had 2 lexus and used this service department at least a half dozen times. They were not overly busy. As I arrived the first employee to make contact was nice enough and started to vacuuming the front passenger floor and I asked him to leave the back seat alone due to a number of items in the back seat. But as I walked away he opened the back door and started to vacuum so I said again please leave the back seat alone. That should off been enough but as I leave 2 1/2 hours later I notice that he did not listen and by the time I get home I get the added pleasure to find out that right around 30 dollars worth of change is no longer in my car. I had said change in 2 old prescription bottles. I really expected to not have to worry about this happening as I asked them to please leave the back seat area alone. I guess it's more my fault for thinking that a Lexus employee my have enough respect to not go thru personal items in a customer's car. I wonder what else is missing?? I left a review on Google 3 months ago with 5 stars and now will leave another that won't be nearly as pleasant. So I suggest you take an empty car if you don't want to have a similar experience.. Thanks to your employee who can't keep their sticky fingers to themselves. Character is important and your employee just sold theirs for 30 dollars.. More
