Risky bait/switch pricing 1) Tire sensor quoted $230. when setting appointment; arrival quoted 'around $300.', 30 min. later expressed discrepancy and was now informrd HIGH 3's?! Final invoice a bit over 10% higher than quote. Relieving or frustrating? Pins and needles. 2) Diagnostic quote 95/HR., arrival quoted shocking $190/hr. (also credited toward sensor purchase...phew.) But I cancelled other diagnostics. Would I return for service? Three of possible ten--odds for service return. Would have been zero if Sean had not come 'close on quoted price WITHOUT my having to esclate'. Carwash was missed, Sean quickly self-handled as well.
