on November 29th 2012 I went into the Larry H Miler dealership on Riverdale Road in Utah. I found the car I wanted and fell in love with it. it was a black 2011 touring Mazda 2. I took a test drive and dealership on Riverdale Road in Utah. I found the car I wanted and fell in love with it. it was a black 2011 touring Mazda 2. I took a test drive and was very satisfied with how it sounded and how it felt to drive it. The dealer I was dealing with name was Tyler. he was friendly and seemed sincere. then it got to the financing. I am very appalled at how I was treated. several things went wrong in my experience of car shopping. first I was given monthly payment of 375 for 72 month loan. the Mazda 2 was only 14000 with 1000 down and a 700 $ trade in. having this payment for that long means I would be paying over 20000 for a 14000 $ car. I may be a girl but that does not mean I'm stupid and cannot do math. I refused this offer. then I waited for the next offer to come along. Tyler then proceeded to tell me he could drop it to 330. again paying WAY too much over what I told him I was comfortable paying which was 230 to 270 a month. after two hours of waiting for finding a bank to finance me as I am a first time car buyer and had a co-signer with me I told Tyler I was done for the day and was getting too much anxiety from purchasing a car. he asked if I would wait a little longer. I humored him. I then spoke to Jason who told me he would drop the price to 13000 and throw in a 2 year warranty with a 8.9 % APR. this was a little more understandable and I would be able to do this and be able to sleep comfortably. I called my boyfriend Josh who was on the internet on AutoTrader.com and NADA.com to look up the value of the car and of the deal. I then told Josh what Jason told me and Josh was willing to help me through the roller coaster of buying a car. I gave my phone to Jason to speak to my boyfriend Josh in order to convince him of it being a good deal and I should purchase the vehicle. While I listened to Jason talk to Josh, the numbers I was told kept changing. it was now 16000 with the warranty and a monthly payment of 296 a month. which Josh then calculated the interest at 14 % APR with 1000 down and a 700 $ trade in . Jason then insulted Josh's intelligence by telling him he was giving me a 8.9 % APR. Josh told him he was using real math and the AutoTrader.com loan calculator telling him that Jason's interest rate was off and was 14% not 8.9%. Jason still said Josh was wrong. I could over hear the conversation and proceeded to get mad myself. the numbers kept changing and I felt like was getting the ring around with a company who advertises that they won't do so. I walked away from this 'deal'. I will not buy from Larry H. Miller dealerships now or in the future. I was very offended in how I was treated. I will not recommend your dealership to any of my family or friends or co-workers who are looking for a new car. I do have many people in my circle who are looking for cars but due to how I was treated I would not send my loved ones to a place where they will be treated like idiots who don't know math or the car values. my boyfriend Josh also has the same thought of he will not buy from your company and we will pass the word along of how we were treated to his loved ones as well. Wow, this dealer is different than any I have ever encountered before. They actually cared about me after the sale. There were some issues and they worked to resolve them. I am astounded. They actuall encountered before. They actually cared about me after the sale. There were some issues and they worked to resolve them. I am astounded. They actually want repeat business and after my experience I am VERY likely to go back to this dealer in the future. Their service department guys are great. They are efficient, clean cut and friendly. The shuttle van is great too. If anyone in this dealership fails you, don't worry, the general manager will take care of you. That has been our experience. Larry H. Miller of Riverdale is the most honest, ethical dealership I have ever been to, because after a protracted fight with Ken Garff Nissan of Riverdale, I was at my wits end about my car situation. I h dealership I have ever been to, because after a protracted fight with Ken Garff Nissan of Riverdale, I was at my wits end about my car situation. I had taken the car that Ken Garff sold me to other dealers who were unable to help me, or tried to low ball me on the price. I don't know why I didn't go to Larry Miller first. I went in later in the day on a Tuesday, and Andrew was friendly and attentive. We were able to come to an agreement that got me out of the car that Ken Garff lovingly locked me into. They were very respectful of my time and my needs, they were honest in their assessment of the vehicle I was driving at the time, and most importantly, they actually did listen to me. Don't be taken in by other dealer's sleek advertising, especially the ones that claim to hear you. If a company has to advertise that they will listen, there is clearly a problem. But, I digress. The staff at Larry H. Miller, particularly Andrew, has earned my respect, and when the time comes, I will go back there again for my next car. If you decide to go into Larry Miller Riverdale, ask for Andrew. He has set the bar for all car salesmen. I was impressed by his professionalism and his honesty, and the fact that he listened to me and took my research into consideration, instead of acting like the other dealers by blowing me off. He was respectful of my time, and he wasn't pushy about anything. Andrew has earned my respect and my loyalty to Larry Miller, and I know he will do the same for you. More
I have used Larry H. Miller Chrysler Jeep Dodge of Riverdale for my past 4 vehicle transactions. Their sales team is friendly and very knowledgeable. Their General Manager, Troy Bullard, is always out Riverdale for my past 4 vehicle transactions. Their sales team is friendly and very knowledgeable. Their General Manager, Troy Bullard, is always out greeting people who are coming in for whatever reason and his is extremely personable. These people don't just sell vehicles; they care about you and your circumstances, they care about you desires as much as your needs. Then they wrap that all together to find the best match that you will love, and they do it at a great and affordable price. If I had more than two thumbs, they would all be WAY WAY UP for Troy Bullard and his team at Larry H. Miller Riverdale! More
I lost my clutch in my 08 Wrangler (that's too early) on a trip. I followed Chrysler's recommemndation and went to a dealer in Ceder City. He charged me $1200 (way too much) and used after market parts (wit a trip. I followed Chrysler's recommemndation and went to a dealer in Ceder City. He charged me $1200 (way too much) and used after market parts (without my knowledge). I even complained to Chrysler and was told that they do not interfere with Dealer issues. 2 years later I am sitting with another bad clutch (again way too early)and looking at spending another $850. My frustration level was very high and was considering changing brands (all of my kids own Jeeps and we have been faithful Jeepers for years). I expressed my frustration to Carson who promised that if I gave LHM a chance, he would change my opinion. I consented and was pleasently suprised at the level of customer service that I was given, as well as the quality of workmanship. I am no stranger to fixing Jeeps and I reviewed the work done to my Jeep and was very impressed. The clutch feels like new. Even though I am still frustrated with Chrysler and the crappy dealer in Ceder City, LHM of Riverdale has won my approval and my business. I love my Jeep and so does my family. Thanks You for putting THIS customer first. More

The dealer was not forceful and allowed us to look hassle free. We left and tried different dealers and returned because of the service. We found this car listed on the Internet for 18,900. When we got to the dealership, they tried to sell it to us for 24,000. They honored the Internet listing, but when we were about to sign the papers to buy we got to the dealership, they tried to sell it to us for 24,000. They honored the Internet listing, but when we were about to sign the papers to buy, we noticed a chunk missing out of the fog light cover and a large crack on the driver's side of the bumper. They refused to replace the bumper, using the excuse that they had already lost too much money on the sale. So now, I'm driving around a $23,000 after tax and registration vehicle that's got a large crack in it. I'm very unhappy with the way they handled this problem. I would not recommend going to Larry h miller. If you do, make sure to inspect every inch of your vehicle or they will find a way to weasel out of helping you in any way possible. More
Very disappoint with Larry H. Miller in Riverdale can’t speak of all their other dealerships but this one has lost my business for all of their dealerships. My wife is big on customer service which is her speak of all their other dealerships but this one has lost my business for all of their dealerships. My wife is big on customer service which is her life I, hardly ever agree with her but that is the one of the issue. I bought from them a 2008 Dodge Ram 3500 Mega Cab nice truck love the truck but as always some issues with buying used. 1. The interior had cigarette burns in seats and smelled they said they would fix them they did. 2. The interior was dirty they said they would clean them they did. 3. The bed of the truck had some dents they said they would pull them out. 4. The control panel for the windows were broken they said they would fix it. 5. The back sliding window was working they said they would fix it. This truck just came in so it wasn’t all cleaned up and made to be pretty the sells person let me know this so I got over that pretty quick I was wrong should have told him to call me when it was done, will not be making that mistake again. How long should all of this stuff take to get fixed 3 days max 4 if they had to order something from a different location right let just give them a week so they can play around. This is how things went, drop off the truck and they tell me it would be done in 2 to 3 days I say cool and leave. The 3 days go buy so being all excited I called them the second day to get a update they tell me the hole have been fixed and the dents been pulled, windshield had to be replaced. The control for the back window and driver power control had to be order because they had the wrong ones and they also had to order wheel flares and put mud flaps on to pass the safety. Everything else is done so I decide to pick up the truck and enjoy it for awhile until parts came. Got the truck interior still as dirty as when I looked at it but the holes were fixed first problem why was the interior not cleaned before the holes were fixed? Dumb question right. Told them I will be dropping it off Monday or Tuesday need the truck to do some stuff since they already had my other truck they said ok. Dropped off the truck first thing in the morning, I called them around 5 to see if it was ready and they said it would be around 7 just said ok really think what the xxxx have you been doing all day. That truck better be clean as a whistle. Arrived about 7 ready to get the truck they told me still waiting on the wheel flares. Ok not a big deal. The control unit were fixed cool went to look at the interior and yeah not a good thing it was still dirty a little cleaner but dirty ran into guy that sold the truck, to his SURPRISE it wasn’t done because his been out of the office. That is one of the lines I use when I let things slip through the cracks. Their cleaner guy tells us it needs to be shampooed at least 4 times and he just found out about a hour ago it 7:00 in the evening I drop it off at 7:00 in the morning bad communication or as they say pass the buck to some else, we left the truck and my sells guy said he will call me when their done we left, wife is mad remember customer service is her thing she holds everyone to it. I called my sells guy about 3:30 he said the famous phrase when you forget to call some I was just about to call you, then he had to check to make sure the truck was ready and he would call me back. I guess he was getting ready to call me to see how my day was going don’t know any other reason he was getting ready to call me if he had to check to see if the truck was ready. He calls back 5 min later saying it ready, we go done there about 6:30 to pick it up and the seat were destroyed every where the holes were patched they looked better being dirty good shampooing goes a long way specially when it done to get the seats as clean as possible and leaving the some of the thread count on the seat covers. Remember this question, why was the interior not cleaned before the holes were fixed? The answer I believe is because I didn’t tell them they should clean the seat first to see if the cover were worth trying to fix instead of ordering new seat covers for it it’s a money thing. They tell me that they can fix and my wheel flares should be in next week I say you can do when you put the wheel flares on they say ok and I’m off. By the way guess the wheel flares were being shipped from China on a boat because it’s when they get here it will have been three weeks. A week goes by and the get the review that rates them it say to let the General Manger know before you write a bad review General Manger is out so she talked to the manger he wants to be rude but she said she calling the BBB he changes he’s tune and say he will have their Service contact her on Monday to finish up the truck. 4:00 Monday she calls them apparently they don’t check their messages to the end of the day because he just got his message and was about to call. Made the appoint for Wednesday drop the truck of Tuesday night the guy said it would take a day or to fix the seats and to put the wheel flares that came from China on. This is a certified dodge dealership not a used car dealership, I’m wondering how do you become a certified dealership the reason I’m wondering this, is for a couple of reasons if I was a dealer of a certain brand ( Dodge ) for instance I would think I would know if I put certain wheel flares on a vehicle it would require certain mud flaps to go with it, that’s called knowing what your selling or common sense. My wife had to call them Thursday the 2 day’s they said it would be done. This is what they told her they decided to put on the slimmer looking wheel flare because the other ones seemed to bulky. Which means they already had the wheel flares are order 2 sets of wheel fares from China, the slim wheel flares take a certain mud flap to pass state safety inspection so they are going to take the slim wheel flares so they can put the right mud flaps on and those are coming about Salt Lake City, the truck won’t be ready until Friday. They called my wife (HOORAY they can call great customer service) Thursday night around 5:00 to tell her this, they should have the mud flaps in by 12:00 Friday and install and the guy coming to fix the seats should be here at 9:30am. She gets off the phone and tells me and says guess you are getting up early to go to work I sleep in on Fridays. The whole reason I drop off the truck on Tuesday night was for the interior and wheel flares. What is the point of dropping it off Tuesday just for it to sit there all day Wednesday to have them put the wheel flares on Thursday and have them take them back off and have everything done Friday Hopefully. This is the worst experience I have ever had buying anything. I don’t want to give the manufactures of cars and trucks bad names but they need to check on their certified dealerships at the end of the day they are the ones losing business. If all the manufactures of vehicles’ said they we are closing down your store because their customers are more important to them then they were and give some else a chance I wouldn’t be writing such a long review. I love dodge that’s why I went to a dodge dealership and not the guy up the street that sells everything boy was I wrong should of went to the guy up the street that has everything. Then I would have expected all of this and not have been surprised about it. Customer Services: is going beyond what is excepted of you not up to it without it you have no job, no company, no BUSINESS Respect: Treat others the way you want to be treated my time to me is just as important as your time to you. If you can do something don’t say you can. More
I am probably one the hardest people to sell a car too. Because I don't like games AND PEOPLE THAT MISS QUOTE STATS OR TRY TO WEASEL INTO CREDIT FOR A SALE THEY HAD NOTHING TO DO WITH. When I called Troy h Because I don't like games AND PEOPLE THAT MISS QUOTE STATS OR TRY TO WEASEL INTO CREDIT FOR A SALE THEY HAD NOTHING TO DO WITH. When I called Troy he said the experience would be pleasant purchasing a car from Larry Miller. The first BIG PLUS was Keri Matern, with a great attitude and +++++++++ ("A BIG ASSET TO LHM"), also Kyle Walker was phenomenal in his professional salesmanship and knowledge of the functions of the vehicle. He was calm and relaxed as he went thru the details of the car, making us feel that way too. Would make a great manager. Troy was great to work with and appreciate his help and understand why he is the General Manager. NOTE: ONLY THE ABOVE THREE PEOPLE WERE INVOLVED IN THE PURCHASE OF THIS CAR. Then went to Pete Wilder in the finance and it was "OUTSTANDING". Also Brian in the parts, ZAK service and Kevin a tech that was in the incoming bay were all "GREAT". Everyone was pleasant and asked if they could help and this makes the difference making the customer feel welcome after the sale. Because WORD-OF-MOUTH is worth a year of an advertising budget. I saw technicians coming into the waiting area and talking to the owner of the car they were working on to explain what they did or recommendations on needed service "TOTALLY OUTSTANDING". Seen the shuttle service ready and servicing customers "GREAT" More
