After talking to Jess Motherway in sales, I explained what was of actual interest to me and she told me she would contact me if something came in. No rush, no pressure, no repeated phone calls or emails trying to sell me something other than what I asked for. A few weeks later I receive an email and she forwarded the info on a unit. Perfect match. Visited the dealership and had a no pressure conversation and test drive. Went back with the trade two days later and they told me what they would give me for the trade and it was more than fair. Meeting with Nic the finance manager was again a no pressure and efficient experience with a fair finance rate. This dealership from the showroom to the shop reflects that of a finely tuned machine. Everyone that I interacted with was a consummate professional and was low key and did more listening than talking. Save yourself a lot of time and aggravation and call Premier Toyota of Newport. It will be worth it. More

Outstanding dealership to purchase a new vehicle My wife and I just purchased a new Toyota Prius V from Premier Toyota and the experience was outstanding. There were no high pressure tactics or urgency involving the purchase of our new vehicle. I do a lot of research on any vehicle we have purchased so I was already knowledgeable about the Prius model we had decided to check out. My sales representative was Matt Hill and he was very forthcoming with all answers to any questions I had about the vehicle. His knowledge of the Toyota line is impressive as I have met sales persons in the past that did not know about the product they were trying to sell me other than what you could find in a television commercial. Matt was very informative and was not pushy nor did he try to talk me into anything other than what I was interested in test driving. He accompanied me on a test drive over several roads that had not been entirely cleared of snow from a recent heavy storm and pointed out several features about the vehicle as we drove. When we returned, he gave me a quick tour of the dealership service areas and body shop. This dealership was recently totally redone and the facility is outstanding. We discussed a few options about financing as well as leases and when I asked, provided me with invoices to see for the vehicles they had in stock. At no point did I feel pressured or rushed to make any decision as I did not have my wife with me at that time, although we both knew we wanted to buy a hybrid vehicle. One point I would like to make is that the dealership has a minimum profit they make on each new vehicle and that figure was below even what I usually had allowed when purchasing or leasing a vehicle. Also, the owners have apparently 'cleaned house' and terminated employment with the type of employees that in the past were a determent to the dealership. The owners are definitely focused on providing a great customer experience for all departments at Premier Toyota (and that also goes for their Nissan dealership, right next to the Toyota showroom). The fact that the sales persons at Premier are on salary rather than a straight commission takes a lot of pressure off to make the sale the same day a customer is first starting to look for a car. At no time did I feel the need to make a decision about any vehicle while I was at the dealership. When I left the dealership with all the information I needed so I could go home and discuss things with my wife, it was with a good feeling about the dealership and the people I had met during my visit. A few days later, my wife and I both went to Premier so that she could test drive the Prius since it was to be her car. Matt had asked that I call prior to coming down, which I did, and when we arrived, he had already warmed up the car (it was an extremely cold and windy day) and had dealer plates on the Prius I had previously told him we were most interested in purchasing. While Matt stayed at the dealership, we took the vehicle on an extensive test drive to see how the vehicle performed under all driving conditions, which to say was perfectly. Upon our return, we had made the decision to purchase the vehicle we had driven and the only thing left to do was the paperwork. The finance part of the purchase was also a very pleasant experience. The finance person at Premier Toyota is Nik Kischko and he was very helpful and efficient at his job. As with Matt, he was very knowledgeable and offered the usual additional options for extended service warranty and some protection options for the vehicle, but he did it like someone showing you a pair of shoes, straight-forward talk with no pressure to purchase any additional treatments or options for our car. Everything was done within a very short time and the only decision left was when to pick up the car. Overall, this dealership ranks at the top of all the dealerships I have visited during my lifetime of buying or leasing cars. If the service and parts department are as customer oriented as the departments I have had the pleasure of dealing with to date, then Premier will absolutely be at the top of my list of recommendations to friends and relatives if they are looking for a car. Finally, a no haggle dealership Bought a new Tundra (this is my 3rd Tundra) and this was by far the easiest purchase I have ever made. There were no hidden costs. They put all of the numbers out on the table, told me their markup and that was it. I had already done my homework and knew what the truck should cost and they were right on the money. They also gave me top dollar for my trade in, which made it even easier to deal with them. My wife was also looking for a new vehicle and she just purchased a new 4Runner. We didn't even think about going anywhere else. Also, the service department is outstanding. Can't say enough good things about Premier and will definately do business with them again. More

Inspection I went in for an inspection and Premier notice my third brake light was out. I have a Mini Cooper which required a new third light assembly. Great Salesman I purchased a new 2015 Tacoma Dbl-Cab TRD Sport. The options I wanted (mainly the JBL premium sound system and app suite) were not available and locat I purchased a new 2015 Tacoma Dbl-Cab TRD Sport. The options I wanted (mainly the JBL premium sound system and app suite) were not available and locating one was not possible as there were none available in the Northeast. I could not ask for better salesman (Bob D). He was upfront and extremely accommodating. Not once did he try to push towards a truck that was in stock just for a quick sale. He explained the process of locating one as well as the wait time to order on. To make a long story short I ended up putting a deposit down and an order was placed. The truck arrived 6 weeks later and the rest is history. The bottom line is my experience with the dealership was a positive on mainly due to Bob D. Great guy and if you are looking for a new or used car I highly recommend reaching out to Bob D. at Premier Toyota of Newport.. More
