Matthew had been trying to make my wish co I had a fantastic experience on 02/24/17 at Kia of Cleveland. Matthew was a very nice and caring sales rep! Matthew had been trying to make my wish come true from when I first visited and couldn't purchase a Kia Soul in December. I told Matt I was interested in the Caribbean Blue 2016 Kia Soul so Matt and I made a plan for me to come back when I got my taxes and he would try his best to keep a Caribbean Blue Soul around for me and make me a owner of it! Matt was so fantastic that I would call or text Matt asking all kinds of questions and check once a week to see if there was a Caribbean Blue Soul and Matt was always on top of it responding back and keeping me informed. So Feb 24, 2017 I visited Kia of Cleveland well of course the 2016 Soul was sold but.. Matt had even better deal for me the new Caribbean Blue Kia Soul just 1 left. It was like it was waiting on me is how I felt! So after talking with caring Jamie we almost started looking in a different direction as far as souls.. but then Matt and Jamie decided to give the Caribbean Blue Soul a shot and needless to say Matt and Jamie made sure my wish came 100% real and it did! WONDERFUL EXPERIENCE! BEST EVER! Matthew, Jamie, and Andy was really great helping me and always to the point with answers and so I left with the Soul I wanted and not confused of anything and feeling awesome and happy as ever! :). Also thank you Aubrey for setting me up an appointment mt 1st with Matthew if it wasn't for that I would have never had this terrific experience at Kia of Cleveland! I know I made the BEST choice purchasing the Soul but not only that through Kia of Cleveland having Matthew by my side the entire way!!! I will always recommend all my friends and family to Kia of Cleveland! Very professional and great people! Thank You Kia of Cleveland!!! More

He showed me a vehicle that had just been traded in, in fact the previous owner was still removing items from it. When a salesman, Luke, became available, he took over and I ended up buying that vehicle. Brandon in finance breezed through the paper work, the vehicle was cleaned up and I drove it home that night. I went from a cruiser loser to a KIA FORTE I am the kind of person that does not handle change easily. I have owned my P.T. Cruiser for seven years and I was proud of that little car. However i I am the kind of person that does not handle change easily. I have owned my P.T. Cruiser for seven years and I was proud of that little car. However it was not the most beautiful sight and I knew the time would come when the Cruiser would bite the dust. I was in the market for looking at used cars but a reliable used car. I know Matt Hakes as a mutual friend but I did not know him on a personal level. I asked him if I could come look at some cars at Kia of Cleveland and start to consider some new options. I texted him and asked him if he could meet me spur of the moment. I was excited and wanted to look right away. It was actually his off day from work and most people would say "No I am not at work today but you can come another day." Matt did not even begin to hesitate. His response was "I am off work today but I can get ready in a couple of minutes and meet you at 4:00." I knew by his response that he took his customers and their satisfaction seriously. I arrived at Kia with my mom and Matt greeted us with a smile in the parking lot. I had a bad experience the last time with a car salesman so I wanted a great experience this go around. Matt was confident, helpful, and knowledgable and I could tell I was in great hands. He wanted to hear my thoughts and he asked what I was interested in. I am 24 years old and a college graduate and I knew I had to be smart with my finances. I told him that my budget was 10K or under. He directed me to the cars that were in my budget. I looked at a Lincoln and a Kia Seoul that were in my price range, and then Matt suggested the 2015 Kia Forte. It was 2,000 over my budget but he recommended it because it was still in my spending range that was comfortable. I trusted his judgment and agreed to take the Kia Forte for a test drive. He sat in the back seat of the car and it felt like I was talking to an old friend. I did not feel pressured, I felt relaxed and comfortable. Mom and I were in the front and Matt was in the back and we were cruising down the road laughing and talking and BONDING! That's the feeling I was looking for. I knew that I would feel the most comfortable in the car that suited me best. That car was everything I knew I wanted. A zippy, fun, stylish, sporty car that made everyone see I had stepped into adulthood. I was no longer a teeny bopper, I was now an adult. The Kia Forte is sophisticated yet sporty. We arrived back to the dealership and I did not want to get out of the car. Matt was a book of knowledge and continued to tell me more about the vehicle I was in love with. He popped the hood and showed me the engine. I do not know much about engines and all that jazz, but he wanted to inform me that the car was well made. I honestly was starting to lose track of time because Mom and I felt so comfortable talking with Matt and he answered all of our questions quickly and honestly. He also has a great sense of humor and I promise you are guaranteed to crack a smile around him! This was going to be my first time purchasing a car by myself, so I was laying out all the Pros and Cons. I could not think of one Con. So I turned to my trusty car salesman (Matt) and said "Please tell me if there is a con." He looked at me and assured me that Kia is the only way to go. He said that I could not go wrong with this car and that I would have guaranteed satisfaction. We went inside the dealership and sat at his desk and he continued to do some paperwork and start finalizing the deal. At this point I was starting to get hungry so he offered my mother and I some crackers and water. That made both of us happy and content as we sat and waited on the paperwork. I knew I was not leaving until the Kia Forte was mine! I knew that was the car for me. The manager, Jamie, was also a pleasant surprise. He was very natural and talked to me about the process of financing the car and my credit score. He assured me that he would give me the best deal out there and I truly believed him. Jamie made several comments that Matt had made previously in the appointment. That assured me that they both were being honest and telling the truth. I am very good at reading people and I know when someone is being honest. The last step was meeting with Andy which was the man in charge of helping me finance my car. We stepped into his office and he was just as polite and knowledgeable. Of course there is no way around all the paper work, but we talked and laughed and he helped end the night also on a great note. I can't say enough about this incredible experience at Kia. The people that work there are genuine and want the best for their customers. To Matt it is not about selling a car to a stranger. To Matt it is about the relationships and helping his customers find their dream car. Matt is outgoing, intelligent, and he knows what he is talking about. Anyone at any age will bond with him and connect with him. Jeremy was outstanding as a sales person and I will send everyone I know looking for a vehicle to him. He never gave me the run around. He listened to my concerns when it came to getting a vehicle. I purchased a 2017 Kia Soul and I am loving it. It meets all my expectations. He took the time to explain everything about the vehicle to me before I left in it. The other guys that I worked with were Jamie and Andy and they kept me informed of everything going on in the process. I wasn't expecting to leave in a brand new 2017 model but these guys pulled it off and got a better deal for me on it than the 2016 I was originally trying to purchase. The entire experience from the salesman to financing was amazing. The team worked hard to get me the vehicle I wanted at a price I could afford. If you're looking for a new vehicle, I highly recommend Jeremy and the other associates at Kia of Cleveland. More
