I walked into Kia Country knowing exactly what I wanted. Norm greeted me and helped me locate the car that fit my specifications. When I decided to lease the car and trade in my old car, Norm handled everything in a friendly and timely manner. I walked out of there with a very affordable lease on a new Optima and I'm loving it! We bought our first Kia, an Optima, from Kia of Charleston and Elija tucker was the salesperson. He was extremely knowledgeable and helped us through the process. When we decided to upgrade, we immediately considered Kia and Kia of Charleston. Norm L'Heureux met us at the door and listened to what we wanted. We were very specific, almost to the point of being picky. Norm took it in stride and after a short time drove the perfect Sorento up to the front door. This one met all of our desires and then some. Norm then went the extra mile and got it under the price we wanted to pay. We left with a new Sorento. For two years plus, we have been telling all of our friends to consider the Kia brand and to go to Kia of Charleston. This dealership and its employees go the extra mile to make sure the customer is totally satisfied, be it sale or service. More
A friend sent me to Kia Country. Having a low credit score, I had no expectation of actually being able to purchase a vehicle. When I told Norm that I wanted either a Kia or maybe a Nissen, he immediate score, I had no expectation of actually being able to purchase a vehicle. When I told Norm that I wanted either a Kia or maybe a Nissen, he immediately said he had just the vehicle for me. It was a 2008 Kia Spectra EX with only 20,000 mile on the odometer. 5-speed, no less! I wasn't sure about that because it had been years since I had driven a manual. A 4-block test drive and I was in love with it. The sales crew went to work shopping the paperwork and found me a bank. Payments were within my budget and within about 3 hours, I was a proud owner! I highly recommend Kia Country and it's sales staff. More
Constant calls from service department to "add" repairs......labor charges for work done are absolutely obscene! Charges for labor vs. the parts/service provided were WAY over reasonable. Getting ready to trade both cars and will go ANYWHERE other than this dealership - due to what I PERSONALLY AND ONLY PERSONALLY consider to be outrageous labor charges for services rendered. The purpose for my visit to Kia Country was to have some maintenace completed on my my current 2010 Kia Soul. I found a 2012 Kia Soul that I liked and out of curiosity, took it for a test drive. I liked many of the new features that were added to the car, and Elijah was extremely helpful in pointing out those features while on the test drive. Upon returning to the dealership, Elijah asked if I wanted to see the numbers on financing. In the end, the new payment that Brian, and Elijah were able to get me was 28 cents higher than the payment I had, and I was getting a new car with all the features of the old car I enjoyed and the features of the new car. This is the second car I have purchased from Kia Country, and I can honestly say that I will likely buy from them again. The staff are wonderful, helpful and HONEST! Thank you Elijah, Brian and all the employees of Kia Country. More
I went to kia country looking for a newer car. Sam Washington was was the sales person that helped me find a great car. We actually did not buy a car here, although we walked in planning on buying an Optima and had an appointment with Sam. Busy is no excuse, customer service matters! Then when we got back he wanted to talk price right away. We loved the car, but because of Sam Washington we went down the street to Hyundai and bought a new car there! More
I doubt I've ever rated anything this favorably, but this was honestly the best new car-buying experience I've ever had! From the minute I walked into the Kia Country of Charleston dealership, my sales consu was honestly the best new car-buying experience I've ever had! From the minute I walked into the Kia Country of Charleston dealership, my sales consultant, Sam Washington, treated my wife and me with the utmost courtesy and professionalism. He offered me a very reasonable trade-in on my 2006 Kia Sorento, and patiently showed and explained to me the various packages available for a new Kia. I really love the Sorento, but I made it clear I would be just as happy buying another used one from Carmax. Sam helped me work out a great deal for a brand new Kia with just the features I wanted, for a price I could afford, and in probably less time than Carmax would have taken. Service after-the-sale was exceptional, too, when some idiot keyed my new car less than a week after I bought it. I called Sam, he assured me the service dept. could fix it, and they did. Only $75 and a one-day turnaround to make my paint job good as new again. When later complained about my iPod not working, Sam Fed-Exed me a special cable -- free of charge -- that lets me use my iPod in my new car effortlessly. In summary, great car, great dealer, great service! More

From the time I bought the car until now the friendliness of this dealership has been great! Since my car is a 2007, most of my dealings now are with the service department. Melissa Grooms and Mitch Jones are always helpful, always friendly and as much as you can enjoy needing service, whether it be an oil change or something other, I enjoy working with them. I would gladly recommend this dealership to anyone looking for a new car, or service on an older car. I've been to other dealerships in the past, but this is the one I would come back to and will come back to when it is time to get something new. More
