Recently, I had an unbelievably great experience with your Honda Dealership in Manassas, VA. The mechanic who worked on my vehicle was exceptional. He took the time to explain in detail as to the reason my vehicle's heating system was not working properly. He also pointed out several other issues which required attention. Afterwards, I drove away from the dealership not wanting to spend the money to make the recommended repairs due to the age of the car. The vehicle is a 1998 Accord Ex with over 254,000 miles. However, while enroute home I changed my mind because I wanted to give the vehicle to young man who was in need of a car. Upon my departure from the dealership after having second thoughts I turned around and drove back to the dealership and spoke with the same advisor (Ms. Karen Huntington) and the mechanic (Gregg Mann) regarding the repairs. Why, so? I did it because everyone was extremely helpful and professional to include the service manager, mechanic/technician and advisor. Over the years, the vehicle has been serviced by Koons. However, on my prior visit to the delearship in order to purchase a battery, I was not treated very well. After, the experience I decided that never again would I spend a dime with Koons. Nonetheless, after my subsequent positive interaction with the aforementioned employees, I elected to try one more time and it was a great decision on my part. I'd inquired all around the state for a New Honda Accord Touring 2.0 in Sonic Grey Pearl and while I had two other dealers present great offers. Kat and Tim reached out to me with a great deal straight up, that beat out everyone else's, I had a previous experience with another dealer in Alexandria that was the most uncomfortable. My local dealers also wouldn't work with me on a price that made me comfortable purchasing the car. But wise advice I was given from someone on my first car purchase is that the right dealer will present a smooth experience you get from shopping at the store just like how seamless it is to purchase a tv or laptop from a retailer. They presented the best experience and while I had to do a majority of the deal virtually due to the pandemic and long-distance. Timeem was very great in presenting me the car virtually showcasing all the features, mileage and answering all my questions about the vehicle. Lastly, Victor did a great job working with my credit and getting me the best rates for the vehicle to make the purchase worthwhile in the long-term so I could get the car I wanted. He let me make adult decisions and just gave his advice on what he would suggest and he will work with you on whatever you need. This place doesn't do any of those pressure tactics like other dealers, if you make up your mind on what you want they will respect that and be content with your decision. Definitely give Joyce Koons Honda a shot! Words cannot express how grateful I am for how smooth the process was.
