This was the first time I used Joyce Honda for service. My van was modified by BraunAbility and has less than 5" ground clearance. It has been modified for accessibility for a full size motorized wheelchair that I use to transport my wife. I spoke with Kelly who assured me that Joyce Honda had serviced this type of vans. She did an outstanding job keeping me informed on the progress of work on my van and the care they took to address the low clearance. I offered her a tip to show my appreciation on the quality of service I had received that day. She refused the tip and stated that my satisfaction was all that mattered. Also, the driver who took me home in the morning was very nice as well as the young lady who picked me up latter that day. Both drove with great care. Finally the cost of my service was very reasonable. Im relatively new to this are and have been to other Honda dealers in New York. Joyce Honda is the best dealership I have used for service. Solomon is an incompetent liar. I will never be returning to Joyce Honda for anything! Service or sales. This place is a joke. Stay away! This is the third time I’m writing this rev I will never be returning to Joyce Honda for anything! Service or sales. This place is a joke. Stay away! This is the third time I’m writing this review and the dealership keeps deleting it. No one at the dealership has yet to reach out to me either to clarify or hear my terrible experience. I called to have my windshield replaced because it was damaged while I was driving. I spoke to Solomon in regards to my windshield and the warranty and he said he would order my new windshield. When I called two weeks later to follow up on the order nothing was ordered for me. Parts transferred me to service. No one knew what I was talking about because Solomon never put in any notes on my record nor placed an order. Once I did finally get to speak to him again he said he never ordered the windshield because it was not covered under my extended warranty. He never called me back to relay this to me. He never even put a note in that we spoke about this even though it was a pretty in depth back and forthright between him and I. Then, I said well how can I repair the crack? He said send a photo. He never asked me to come in to see my windshield so it can be looked at or if it’s something fixable. I had to offer to come in. I did. Then he said ok I can have my “glass guy” repair it under your warranty. Great! He said you need to leave it all day. I said fine. He said would you like a loner? I said sure: Fast forward to the day of the appointment I arrive at 9:00am: he says sorry there’s no loaner for you! I said fine: I’ll leave it: and find a ride home. As I’m leaving, the service receptionist finds a “post-it” with my name on it next to the computer and it was supposedly my reserved loaner? At this point I was fed up and did not trust them to repair my car. From my first conversation with Solomon he was constantly confused, disorganized and just not clear on the processes of his own service department. Then they boil it down to the fact my husband gave his name when arriving for the appointment and not mine that’s why they couldn't find the loaner reservation. What a joke. How were you going to repair the car then? Who’s warranty were you accessing? Again, just a joke: no one can take responsibility for their mistakes and oversight at this place. Do not trust them with your vehicle. They lie to coverup their mistakes or lack of employee understanding of internal repair processes then blame it on the customer. Disgusting! More
