On my 2018 SEL Premium Tiguan, the "ParkPilot is currently not available" message on the center screen has not been resolved after being in service for (12) days. (Drop off 8/23/2023, Pick up 9/8/2 currently not available" message on the center screen has not been resolved after being in service for (12) days. (Drop off 8/23/2023, Pick up 9/8/2023) This message comes on when the front, rear, and overhead camera views are not working. I was advised the drivers of my Tiguan did not get the message "ParkPilot is currently not available" nor did any error message appear on the vehicle. I drove the Tiguan on August 30, 2023 and the message "ParkPilot is currently not available" came on the screen within (4) miles. I took a photo of the message and showed it to the Service Mgr., Service Advisor, Service Tech, and driver of the Tiguan. The message has come on (1) time since I picked up the Tiguan on September 8, 2023. I will continue record dates when the message "ParkPilot is currently not available" so I can provide the information to the Joseph VW service department staff. This issue may require a software update that VW corporate needs to provide to the dealer. I have used VW service at the now Joseph VW for over (23) years and have been pleased with the service. I appreciated the use of a Tiguan loaner while my Tiguan was in service. This "ParkPilot" issue seems to be a stumper for the service staff. I ask VW corporate service to provide the necessary assistance to help the Joseph VW service staff. My car needed emergency service and it was important to get it in ASAP. It was frustrating that I had to wait over a week to get it in. I was terrified the engine was going to blow up before I could get get it in ASAP. It was frustrating that I had to wait over a week to get it in. I needed a loaner from the dealership and could not get a reservation for a rental car because of Labor Day. I was grateful to have the loaner while they serviced my EOS so I could get to work. More

The service representatives were very friendly and acommodating when I called to reschedule service and then, drop off my iD4 for recall work a day early. After bringing my vehicle in for a check engine light, I was assured the issue was corrected . Two trips later the issue has not been fixed.
