My Wife and I purchased a new 2015 Kia Soul in 2015.from this dealership. The Sales people were friendly. After some time my wife and I began hearing a clunking noise in the front of the vehicle. I took the vehicle in and of course nothing was found. The noise in the front of my vehicle has been noticeable up and including this date of October 17, 2020. Each time I would take the vehicle in for service I ask service to check the front for that clunking noise, and each time, the same report comes back. Nothing is wrong. The last time I took the vehicle in for service I again asked Nick if they could check the front of the vehicle for that noise. This time Nick came into the dealership and advised me that they found a problem with the vehicle. Nick showed me a bushing under the vehicle that was ruined and bent. He advised that somebody ran over a curb causing the problem. I assured Nick that since My wife and I purchased our new vehicle, Neither my wife nor I have ever ran over any curbs. We take very good care of our vehicle. The only other people that ever had our vehicle since we purchased it was John L. Sullivan Kia in Roseville, California. Nick told me it will cost me over $1,500 to make repairs to the damaged bushing, and could not guarantee that would take care of noise in my front end. I contacted the Bureau of Automotive Repair. The investigator came out and after checking out the vehicle advised me that no sign of someone running over curb. Just the damage to the bolt an bushing under the vehicle. unable to prove the dealership did the damage. I contacted Kia consumer Services and nothing was done. Vic the Service Manager with Kia Roseville called me and told me to bring the vehicle in and they will repair it. I advised Vic that neither my wife nor I damaged the vehicle. At this time Vic advised me to contact my insurance company and tell them that I ran over something on the highway. They will cover the damage on the Kia under my comprehensive. coverage.. I advised Vic that I did not run over anything and that the damage was done in John L. Sullivan Kia Roseville. At this time told me he will be speaking to Sales and return my call. I never received any call back from Vic. The last attempt was, I sent John L. Sullivan an e-mail on the problem and no call back from him either. I will not be dealing with this dealership in the future. I know the damage was done at the dealership. If you cant prove it, you are stuck with the cost. and telling me to make out a fraudulent claim to my insurance lets me know the honesty and integrity of this dealership. More

UPDATE - I purchased my 2021 Telluride SX on Oct 9th from Hilltop KIA at Richmond Ca at MSRP. No haggle - no add ons. Transaction took 1 hour. I was on a waiting list told delivery Oct 31. Moss green - Butter scotch interior - exactly wht I wanted. I asked Hilltop why no markup - ressponse this is how we do business. More
I scheduled an appointment for Saturday at 930 am on 9/26. I recieved confirmation almost immediately after I made the appointment on 9/15. I showed up a few minutes early and waited my turn in line. I got to the counter and said I have an appointment for 930. The service rep looked it up and then asked me if I could leave my car until Tuesday or Wednesday. Being confused, I repeated that I had an appointment The service rep said they couldn’t diagnose until next week since they were backed up. Seems as if appointments don’t matter there or they took too many walk ins or scheduled too many appointments. Maybe my issues weren’t as important to them as others? Maybe a service team member called off or quit? Who knows why but it didn’t seem to help to make an appointment 10 days in advance. ~. Dan Hoy More

Worst car deal ever was lied to by finance about having a solid approval ,the closer Dante even raised his voice at me. Will never return. LIE ABOUT CERTIFIED CARS This is the worst place to buy a car or get it serviced!! The panoramic sunroof not working, brakes squeaking (4 times), key fob not working and a dead battery. The battery died while my car was there for the key fob programming, which should only take 15 minutes. They had my car for 4 hours. They said the inspected the battery and said it was fine. The next day my car died at my son's school and I was stranded. I drove it back there to get it fixed and have them inspect the brakes again for the noise it keeps making. They had my car for 5 days!!! The brakes still make noise and NOW I have white paint on my tires and inside my wheel well that was not there before. NEVER BUY FROM HERE!! THEY ARE THE WORST IN EVERY WAY. SAVE YOURSELF THE STRESS AND FIND ANOTHER PLACE. More

I went into the last week of April 2020 to look at 2020 Kia Niro after a long while they came down to a price I liked, that was good. Everything else was a HORRIBLE experience. Turns out they never reach out to Honda to check the payoff for my trade in (I confirmed this with Honda), which means I signed over the car (which makes it theirs on that day) yet many days later I get a call saying I owe over 340 dollars more than what I paid. It wasn't on the contract, Abel said I do not owe anything more, they will take care of the trade in from there. In addition to that, I paid 600 dollars for a "on star" type accessory that was not MANDATORY to pay for but they told me I HAD TO take it, even though I said I did not want it. That was a lie as I found it that the accessory was not mandatory and they could have taken it off. I complained, I tried to reach out to a Customer Relations Manger (Jessica Romero) and literally have been ignored by the manager, a sales manager, and anyone else I have tried to get help from. Now, I am going to have to go to the BBB, Attorney General's office and consumer agencies that handle business that rip off customers. I was threatened with collections if I didn't pay, which I should not have had to. The person that helped me with the contract lied and said she told me I could owe more later. I would have walked out of the dealership if I knew I would have owed more money. I did them a favor by agreeing to pay for that tracker accessoried as long as I didn't owe any other money...so now I paid for that and was lied to so then I had to pay another 340 plus dollars. So much for customer service. I took on extra cost to help the sales person out and it ended up he and the others lied to my face. Unbelievable . You try to show grace and a good heart and they simply lie, use, avoid and treat me like I am literally nothing, less than nothing in fact. Normally I would leave things be, but this is so egregious that I will definely get other agencies involved and fight this, inclding social media and however else I can help others avoid being absolutely disrespected, dismissed and avoided.
