Five trips to take care of a buzzy speaker I initially brought my car in to have a buzzy speaker checked out. They ended up replacing the wrong speaker. On the next visit, they said that ther I initially brought my car in to have a buzzy speaker checked out. They ended up replacing the wrong speaker. On the next visit, they said that there wasn't anything wrong with the speaker. Finally they realized that the speaker was, in fact, defective and scheduled a fourth visit. At this time, I waited for 3 hours for them to discover that they had the wrong part and that I would have to schedule a fifth visit. They then informed me that the speaker was on backorder because, apparently, this is a problem with quite a few cars. On my fifth visit, they arranged to have the car picked up and dropped off for me rather than having me come in and drop it off. And on the fifth visit, they finally replaced the correct speaker and it works. I personally had to make 4 trips in to the Kia dealership to get this resolved, and my husband made an additional trip to drop off tools that they left in our car after it being serviced. Total, I put over 100 miles on my car driving back and forth, and spent at least 15 hours in transit or waiting for my car. I find this unacceptable. The manager did arrange pick up/drop off service for the final trip, but it should have been offered much earlier. Not only that, but the time I spent taking care of this on my precious days off is time I'll never get back. Doing something on the fifth trip in that should have been done on the second or third trip doesn't begin to make it right. I will say that the driver (whose name I don't know) was fantastic; he was very friendly and took great care of me. More
