Went in to look at a 2021 Telluride SX. Told dealer was only 1 year into a Honda Pilot lease, but they assured me they could do something. They came back with a $40k down payment which was only $2k off only 1 year into a Honda Pilot lease, but they assured me they could do something. They came back with a $40k down payment which was only $2k off of paying off the Honda lease. They said they could do better and came back with a $9k down payment. I turned it down and left the dealer. A week later they sent me an email saying they had some good news and to contact Abel. I did and he acted as if he didn't know what I was talking about and said he would call me back. He never did. I called him back and he said we probably could do a deal with $3k down, but didn't tell me what the "good news" was or gave me any specifics. He said he would call me back. He did not. I then texted him a few days later and said I was ready to put a deposit down and that I would be looking at Palisades that weekend. He didn't respond. I received a call from Johnny a little bit after the text stating that they had a telluride coming in in late June and once they had a VIN they would call me. Still no one has talked numbers with me nor have told me about the "good news" referenced in the email I was sent. Long story short, I went to look at the Palisade Calligraphy. The local Hyundai dealer bought me out of my lease with only $5k added to the lease of the new Palisade. I didn't have to put down $40k or $9k and we were able to do the deal. A few days later, I get a text from Johnny asking if I were still interested. I said that I had purchased a Palisade as Kia didn't seem like they wanted my business and then he texted back that the Telluride wasn't for everyone. :( More
Overall the customer service is abysmal. It took five hours to buy a new car that was already selected, agreed upon with pricing established and an appointment set! AC never worked, made an appointment with service and had to wait two weeks. Called to confirm ap'pt and was told there was none that it would be the following week! More
My experience with Nick and Jeff in service was great from drop off to pick up. Both very friendly and professional !
