Terrible service from Blake. I applied for financing online and received an email confirmation from DeWayne but never a phone call. I messaged John Eagle Acura after 2 days of waiting and received a cal online and received an email confirmation from DeWayne but never a phone call. I messaged John Eagle Acura after 2 days of waiting and received a call from Blake. He said he only works by appointments and insisted I come in. I scheduled for a 9:30am and arrived 15 minutes early. I was his first customer and he made me wait until 9:35am. I saw him walking around the dealership atleast 4 times while I waited. A manager had to go get him for me. I could tell the manager was upset with him. We discussed what I was looking for but the whole time I could tell he wasn't listening. He was trying to convince me to look at other used cars. I asked him to figure out the details for me and to call me back. He called but I missed his call. I called back within 5 minutes, no answer or callback. I waited the rest of the day and called right before closing. He informed me that I had been approved for the car I wanted but my payment would be too high without even asking me if I felt comfortable with the payment or not. He then said he had another finance company he was going to call on Monday and he would call me back then. Again he never called. I emailed him the next day asking about the status. He said we called your finance company again and they said you're not approved. Either he lied to me last week or he's lying now. He never even mentioned checking with the other finance company that supposedly he was going to call monday. This guy is terrible. He seems very inexperienced and not trustworthy at all. I wouldn't recommend this dealership at all. Blake is the main reason but also DeWayne failed to contact me after I submitted an application. This is not a good way to do business. More
They charge you a $135 diagnostic fee to hook up to their computer. If you do not get your car serviced with them, they charge this ridiculus fee. Privately owned repair shops want your business, and do not charge you a hook up to the computer fee. Most cars today need a computer to diagnose your vehicle. John Eagle Acura told me the fee was for upkeep of computer and training on the device. Please! They also quoted me on the service of my vehicle, and the cost to fix my car was way overpriced. Get your car fixed with a shop, that cares about your wallet. More
The salesman was 'friendly' enough. His customer service skills were above acceptable. What I didn't like was realizing later that typical used car salesmen tactics had been employed on me and as savvy a s skills were above acceptable. What I didn't like was realizing later that typical used car salesmen tactics had been employed on me and as savvy a shopper as I'd like to claim to be, I still got GOT! I purchased a nice used car at a reasonable price. However on the test drive, I noticed a slight whistling sound and he was like well that's to be expected, the car is 12 years old. NO - it is an indication of that door having been hit or something, it didn't show in the car fax, but later research revealed that something of the sort had to happen for that to occur. During the test drive (which happened to be on a nice day), as I'm driving he distracted me "testing" all the features 'showing'; me that they worked. He turned the air on and was like, see cold air, then turned it off as the weather of the day did not warrant needing to drive with air. Well low and behold, after purchase, I realized that in fact the a/c on this 'AS IS'; did NOT work! Then 4 days later, check engine light AND when I tried to run the air and the car was at idle it would jerk wildly in a very scary way. It wasn't smooth starting either so I had Auto Zone test it...it need a new battery - $150 (I buy the good ones). Found someone to look at the shake problem, fortunately it was a bad hose at the intake manifold - $70. ARE YOU FRIGGIN' KIDDING ME! I bought a pretty lemon! Sigh. All of this was by Friday and I bought the car on Monday! So meanwhile I had 2 calls from the salesman and one from his mgr on my v-mail. So I give the mgr a call on Friday to let him know the problems I was experiencing. He basically tells me though noogies you bought it as is, but he could put me over to the repair department. Really? That's how you stand behind your products. I imagine and hope that Richard would have at least been a little more empathetic even if his hands were tied and he couldn't do anything. I'd never go there again and tell everyone I know not to as well. It is incredibly sad how stupid too many businesses are ran these days. Over what's hopefully going to total less than $500 to get all straight, he lost thousands of dollars in future business because I was planning to have the vehicle serviced there as that's where the previous owner had most of the work done. Oh and they also stole all the nice extras that the previous owner had left in the car when it was detailed. Nice detail job but I was super upset (content check made me choose a more 'appropriate' word) when I looked in the trunk a few days after I bought it and realized that the VERY VERY NICE sun shade was no longer there. It wasn't a cheap $20 shade, it looked like one that cost about $80 or more. NOTE: The low customer service rating isn't for Richard so much so as for his manager. The people who fixed it (Dealership Alternative - awesome service I should add) assured me that it's not quite a full lemon and once I put some money in it and keep it maintained, that I can easily get plenty of good years out of it. So the lesson is - for anyone buying a used car, please...please..please do yourself a favor and have it independently checked out! You cannot begin to appreciate the value of that good $80-$150 that would have been well spent until you drive off the lot with a problem car that could have and should have been fixed had you identified those issues to the dealer before signing on the bottom line. I had it in my mind before I got there to have it checked out but it "looked" so good and he talked so used car salesman slick that I was sure it was all good and didn't do what my gut and my plan said to do and I paid and will be paying for that mistake for the next few months. I haven't gotten the air fixed yet - hope adding refrigerant will fix that. We'll see! Wishing you all SMART and safe used car shopping. More

The salemsmen on the floor are friendly, reasonable, and not too pushy. Watch out for the "closer"/finance guy he's extremely aggressive on selling you the extended warranty; I found him very off-putting. not too pushy.
