Generally good -there was a tire issue which was overlooked This was my 2nd visit to Jim Butler for service. I had a 7:45 AM appointment on Tuesday, July 9, because I needed to get to the office as soon as poss This was my 2nd visit to Jim Butler for service. I had a 7:45 AM appointment on Tuesday, July 9, because I needed to get to the office as soon as possible. A 7:30 appointment was not available. I arrived about 7:40 AM but did not get checked in until 8:10 or so and was told it would be at least 90 minutes. This made me very anxious as I was hoping to be at the office by 9:00 AM. The rest of my visit went smoothly and my car was ready about 9:30 AM. One of the services which was part of my visit was rotating the tires. On Wednesday night, just before I pulled in my driveway, the low tire pressure came on for the right, front tire. I went to a nearby gas station and added air to 35 psi. By the time I returned home, the tire was down to 26 psi. I knew it would be flat by morning. I got up early to check the tire. It was flat. I called AAA and they sent a service vehicle. The gentleman came out and put the spare on for me. I dropped the flat tire off for repair at my neighborhood mechanic. When I went by after work, the mechanic said there were two leaks in my tire, one fast one (screw) and one slow one. He fixed both of them. I'm positive the slow leak should have been evident when my tires were rotated at Jim Butler on Tuesday morning. That's why my rating was three stars. If you're going to advertise quality service, your technicians need to thoroughly check things, especially the tires. I live alone (widow) and any car issue causes problems, delays to work, etc. More

And the sticker in the windshield wasn't even changed to the updated mileage for the next oil change. More

When I traded my old truck in on the one I bought from Jim Butler, my salesman told I have 3 free oil change coupons for a different Chevy dealership. When I traded my old truck in on the one I bought from Jim Butler, my salesman told me that Jim Butler would honor them. When I used up my free oil changes that came with mt truck I planed on using them. On my last visit to Jim Butler, I told my service adviser that I had forgotten coupons I had for free oil changes. He told me that they would honor them on my next visits. When I was at Jim Butler on Saturday, my service adviser told me that he couldn't apply a coupon from a different dealership. I explained to him what I was told. He said that he would talk to the service Manager on Monday and get back to me. Today is Thursday, and I still haven't heard from anyone about this. So needless to say I am not very happy that I was misled. More

Jim Butlers Mechanics Take Forever We were told our thermostat would be put in and done by Tuesday at the latest so we dropped our car off the Friday before Monday. We call Tuesday and they said they were just then running the diagnostic test. That was aggravating because they said they would have the car done by Tuesday and was just then running the test. Then they said they needed to replace the alternator as well and it should be done by Wednesday. That was understandable because it was something extra that needed to be replaced. Since Thursday was a holiday they weren’t in and wasn’t able to finish my car and have it back to me till Friday. We are not old enough to have a rental so it was aggravating that on our vacation we were without a car. Also if they would of had the thermostat in by Tuesday like they said then the alternator should of been done by Wednesday. More

There was a tear in my center arm rest that was not there when I delivered to vehicle. Dealer denied responsibility and did not offer a solution had to repair myself. More
