Thank you for taking the time to leave us your feedback. We apologize for any miscommunication. We quote $190/hr for diagnostic. Your mother's diagnostic took just under 3 hours because we had to double check the repair work done prior to you bringing your vehicle to us in addition to us tearing the whole engine down. We found that you needed a new engine because there is metal in the engine due to a vacuum pump failure. Our records indicate that Dalton gave you multiple updates during your visit; to you and your mother. We hope that your mother is able to get this issue resolved. In the event further work was needed, I set clear expectations with Dalton that MY contact number was the best and only number that should’ve been used. I even had them update the number on file. I made it very clear that I just wanted a basic diagnostic and to keep it at the $190, because my mom is on a fixed income. He assured me that the diagnostic is a flat $190 and would go towards repairs. For some reason, he kept reaching out to my mom via text. Which she barely knows how to use her phone (hence me requesting to be the point of contact). However, DAYS passed by with no communication. The car was dropped off on a Tuesday morning at 7am, my mom didn’t get her car back till 10-days later on the following Friday. For a diagnostic. I called multiple times (2-3 times a day, every day) just to get an update and even inquired about paying for a rental car since there weren’t any loaners. I had to leave voicemails, notes, had the young ladies ant the front desk attempt to reach out to Dalton real time. But there was always someone at his desk or he was busy. I even attempted to reach out to Zach, which I spoke to him once and I left numerous voicemails requesting a callback from him. I received this same response before and called the number you provided (which no one answered, of course) and had to leave a voicemail. That was a month ago and I still haven’t gotten a callback after leaving the voicemail. Surprising. So the few times I spoke with Dalton was because I had to call to the dealership and basically beg for a call back. As it relates to the repairs, I inquired about an engine flush being completed since the metal from the vacuum pump cause the issue. Which no one could explain how that could even happen. I never received any follow up on that, so I’m assuming it was never completed. I’m confused as to how over $500 was paid for service, but there wasn’t a single thing fixed. Not even an engine flush or a secondary opinion to resolve the issue. Just took 10-days to complete a diagnostic (which apparently only lasted 3-hours), to come up with the resolution of buying a brand new engine for $7,000+. Which wouldn’t make sense, cause I could use $7,000 to go buy a brand new car. I stand by my original feedback. Absolutely horrible communication and I’m still disappointed with the lack of a resolution.
