Nightmare I dropped my car at Jim Burke on Wednesday because of transmission problems. I had heard nothing by Thursday and did not get an update until I had cal I dropped my car at Jim Burke on Wednesday because of transmission problems. I had heard nothing by Thursday and did not get an update until I had called and left two voice messages. Car would end up being in the shop for six days. When I arrived to pay my bill I was told they would not accept checks for more than $1,000. The suggestion was made to use a credit card. I didn't want to do that because of the interest. It would be nice if clients knew this before getting to counter to pay. I had to use a card. Then the car wash I had been promised never happened. Car seems fine but I will make every effort to avoid Jim Burke (and warn others) of the absolute black hole of customer service the company offers. More
