Went in for an oil change. Was told my 2019 Sierra had a recall for seatbelts and it would be an additional hour wait. Offered to do recall that day and get me in ASAP for oil change'/first service if I did recall for seatbelts and it would be an additional hour wait. Oil change appt was made within a few days. Bobby Otis came out and updated me a couple times and even set me up so I could get some work done. Great service all around in the service dept. More

Still took an hour and 15 minutes to do the oil change even with an appointment. I asked for a price on tires and was told I could get them for $5 over cost for $1,000 for the set of 4. I got a full set the same evening at local tire shop for $525 in less time then the oil change took. If I didn't have the service plan, I wouldn't return. Once it's done, so am I. More
Two hours for an oil change and tire rotation. I stopped by without an appointment to see if I could get my oil changed and tires rotated. They told me they were to backed up to take care of me. I have always done this and they usually say it will be about an hour since I did not make an appointment. So I left and told them I would call for an appointment. I called and was told the earliest appointment was in seven working days. I showed up fifteen minutes before my appointment time. Two hours later they came in and told me my car was ready. I saw my car sitting outside 30 minutes before anyone came in to tell me they were done. I asked why it took two hours. His excuse was that when someone was in the system he could not get to my paper work until that person left the system. I told him he needed a new server or complete system change. Really sounded like an excuse more than a computer issue. I also asked if this “jake brake” feature could be disabled on my Buick Encore. Whenever I go down a hill and put on my brakes at around 40 miles per hour the transmission down shifts. At 35 mph I am seeing the engine rev up to 3200 rpm. Complete waste of gas and unnecessary wear on the engine. I had a Nissan Altima that did the same thing and they were able to disable it. Cannot believe General Motors cannot do the same thing. I have always been a General Motors buyer until I tried the Nissan. It was a good car and the service department could change the oil in about 45 minutes with me just showing up without an appointment. This “jake brake” issue will probably stop me from buying anymore General Motors vehicles and will be taking my car to a local garage for future oil changes. More
