I purchased a Nissan Pathfinder through the USAA internet listing service. In general I had a very good experience. I was very impressed with Caitlin, to whom I spoke on my initial phone call. Then I took over as Real Estate Broker and Sales Manager for LTS Builders, the Pocono's Largest Builder. I have been in the fast track, large ticket price sales profession for over twenty five years before retiring. Caitlin immediately TO'd (turned over) me to the Used Car Sales Manager, Jack. Initally, you just about lost the sale because Jack was trying to put a pressure close on me. Unfortunately, my wife and I had volunteered to be Mr. and Mrs. Santa Claus for the Salvation Army in East Stroudsburg Wednesday and Thursday, Decenber 19th and 20th and I told him I could and would be there Friday, December 21st. I was willing to walk away from the deal as I felt the type of sales pressure I was going to get wasn't worth the two hour each way drive. Fortunately I spoke with the owner Jeff and I felt very much better after that conversation. Upon my arrival Friday I was directed to Jack's office. Upon entering I had to explain who I was and what I was interested in buying befotre Jack stood up to greet me and shake my hand. I almost felt like I had to show him the check to to prove to him I wasn't just a "stroker." That was a first impression and my negativity was probably influenced by the phone sales techniques because ultimately Jack and I warmed up to each other and we got along and the sales progressed with the help of Dan Kirby and Tina Dunn both of whom were great.
