Failed promises and non-stop sales pitch Brought my car in first thing in the morning for an airbag recall and oil change. I needed my car by lunch time to run some errands. When advisor asked when I needed the car ready and I said noon, he said it wouldn't be a problem. After multiple calls by myself and then he calling me, I was finally picked up by the shuttle driver at 3:00 pm. In the mean time, I had six(6) different services Steve tried to sell me throughout the day. This is a vehicle I routinely have maintenance on at this dealership, but clearly an obligation to fix a recall issue was not something you wanted to do on its own. I was also informed twice in person and three times now by email that I will be getting a survey that I need to complete. I find this fixation each visit on this need to complete the survey obnoxious and off-putting. I have considered for a couple years now moving my business elsewhere, and this might be the end. I have never appreciated Steve's style as he is grumpy unless you agree to one of his numerous pitches of serious needs on my vehicle. Funny how the next time I come in, those same issues I didn't have addressed previously are no longer an issue and something new should be addressed. Last thing - the advisor immediately to Steve's right and immediately in front of Steve got into a verbal confrontation in front of three customers arguing over who got to claim ownership of a vehicle being brought in at that moment. Unbelievable that they wouldn't care how unprofessional this looked. Clearly something between those two that is much deeper than just that one issue this morning. Even when one walked away, the other mumbled something about the other, much like a kid would behave. I was embarrassed for him. More
Amazing new car buying experience We had an amazing car buying experience at Jay Wolfe Honda yesterday. Jay Wolfe was not the closest dealership to us but it had at least one of every color and model on the Honda Pilot that we were looking for. I had requested an internet price in advance so we were there to simply test drive the model to confirm we wanted it and to see the colors in person to pick the one we wanted. We were quickly greeted by James who had us come into his office to confirm our contact information and to get keys so we could test drive the Pilot EX-L. He brought up the vehicle and gave us the keys and we both drove it and decided it was the vehicle we wanted. We were greeted by James when we returned and we walked the lot and picked the color we wanted. It was when we went inside to start the paperwork that the customer service became over the top. It quickly became apparent (because of the recent cross over to the new year) that the price we were quoted was $1,300 lower than the current internet price for that model because the computer had not been updated to reflect the removal of some Honda dealer cash that ended at year end. After confirming that we had received the quote in 2018, there was no discussion that they weren't going to honor their quote even if it caused them to lose money on the sale. Many companies would have tried very hard to back out on the deal but James and Jay Wolfe honored their commitment and sold us a beautiful vehicle. We are beyond excited and will definitely service our vehicle here and shop here again when we are in the market for another vehicle. More

I called and spoke to a Tiffany to inform the service department I was running late but she told me there wasn’t any late appointments. I called Byron to see if I could come in after being told that there wasn’t any appointments for a later time, but Byron had worked me in. It’s always a plus when you have employees who go beyond to help their customers. More

Great Service Center But Below Average Experience I’ve been servicing my cars at Jay Wolfe for the past six years and this was the first time I’ve had a below average experience. A couple of days ago I’ve been servicing my cars at Jay Wolfe for the past six years and this was the first time I’ve had a below average experience. A couple of days ago I brought my car in at 7:30 in the morning because of some problems with the keyless entry system. By about 1:30 in the afternoon I called the service center because I hadn’t received any updates on the status of my car (normally I get an update within a few hours). They told me that they wouldn’t be able to get to my car until the next day because they were really busy. This was understandable, but I would have appreciated receiving a call sooner when it became apparent that they would not get to my car that day. The issue with my car was fixed the next day later in the afternoon, but I would have appreciated more prompt communication on the status of my car as trying to figure out transportation when your car is in the shop is a bit of a pain. More
