Tommy was great! Very nice young man, very personable, not pushy (I can't stand a pushy, mouthy salesman!) In fact, all of the staff that I dealt with was nice. The Floor manager did try the 'price sympathy push', but backed off when I got ready to leave. I got a nice 2010 RAV4 for a decent price and a good trade price on the car I was trading - they had RAV4 ready when they said they would and I'm a happy camper! I went back later to have an automatic starter installed and Tommy went up to bat for me and got me a great price on it. Once again, Jaffarian came through for me! I almost didn't go there because of the pushy smart-alec salesman I encountered when I bought a Corolla in 2007. Glad I decided to stop! More
I had a great experience buying my new volvo convertible at Jaffarian. I shopped around, and they had the best overall customer service, price, and most transparent process - by far. The owner spoke with at Jaffarian. I shopped around, and they had the best overall customer service, price, and most transparent process - by far. The owner spoke with me on several occasions about my car needs and interests. Jim Carven, was my salesman and he was very patient and informative, as well as responsive to my questions and phone calls. Their price was very reasonable and they gave me the best deal compared to other dealerships. I appreciated having Jon Russo, the sales manager, work directly with me to explain my financing options. This greatly reduced the back and forth time during the negotiation process. They located the exact car I wanted, and it's beautiful. The facility is very nice, the service area is clean, and everyone was very professional. I will recommend them to anyone looking for a new car. More

I'm sure the other dealership wasn't "losing money". 4) They played the back and forth sales game from the 80's. We were there for THREE hours. 5) They asked for a credit card to "show we were serious". Gave it to them. They never gave it back. Simple mistake? Nope, when I went back to get the card, no apology, no explanation, and there was ANOTHER card in the drawer with mine!! 6) Finally, our sales person was nice enough, but the sales manager was really a confrontational jerk. I would not recommend this place to people I don't like. More
This dealership's way of conducting business seems to be stuck in the 1970s. I am not going to put out names of salespeople here, as I believe the management & leadership is more at fault. Where do I be stuck in the 1970s. I am not going to put out names of salespeople here, as I believe the management & leadership is more at fault. Where do I begin? I made an appointment with one of the sales associates there. That person gave me a lot of BS about their 'excellent customer service' and 'personal touch' crap on the phone. Guess what, that associate was not there when we showed up I guess, some people don't understand the meaning of the word appointment. The next guy over there was very brash and condescending. We had researched the 2010 car model extensively online and knew exactly what we wanted. He probably looked at our brown skin and assumed we were ignorant hillbillies or something. He tried to push us towards a used 2009 car. He then left and handed us off to a junior associate. This junior associate was by far the most decent among the sales associates. He let us test drive and explained the various car features and options. Then came the pricing information. We don't think this junior associate had any say in the car pricing. Upon seeing the quoted price, we felt that we were being quoted $ 2000 over the normal price for that model. At that point, we said goodbye and left. The next day, we went to Woburn Toyota and got the exact same car for a very reasonable no-haggle price (about 3k lower than the Jaffarian price). If you are looking for a Toyota, go to Woburn Toyota. They are much easier to work with. More
NIGHTMARE....I (unfortunately) had to have this dealership work on my Volvo many times over the last 9 years. They are TERRIBLE. It has been the worst service experience I have ever had. The la dealership work on my Volvo many times over the last 9 years. They are TERRIBLE. It has been the worst service experience I have ever had. The last time I went there, I worked with Jamie Bell. After promising me the car the next day, he lost my keys, then called every 3 days over the next 2 1/2 weeks telling me that another part broke - Every 3 days??? I finally had to go in person and DEMAND my car back. They were NOT able to provide me with the parts that were replaced. I don't trust them and will NEVER return. DON'T TAKE YOUR CAR HERE and DON'T WORK WITH JAMIE BELL (now at Boston Volvo) More
Carl Rogers is as friendly a salesperson as you would want. Go to Jaffarian, ask for him, and you will not get the "central casting" car sales person. He really knows his product, will guide you to the best decision for you, and complete the buying process with the same energy and enthusiasm as when your deal gets started. We purchased a V50 in October, and his presentation during the pick-up process was top notch. Jon Russo is a personable and direct negotiator - you'll get straight talk from him regarding the vehicle value. More
Very friendly experience. No presure. Ended up with the car I wanted, never was asked to make a second choice. Took a little time but I was advised of the time I would have to wait for my car to come in. car I wanted, never was asked to make a second choice. I brought my RAV4 in for service. The tech "forgot" to tighten a bolt on the timing gear, and 500 yards down the road, the car made a loud "bang" noise and died in the middle of the street. After 2 attem tighten a bolt on the timing gear, and 500 yards down the road, the car made a loud "bang" noise and died in the middle of the street. After 2 attempts to "fix my engine" that was damaged due to the bolt not being secure, the check engine light kept coming back on. Their final assessment was that now I needed a new computer. Another dealership diagnosed the problem and determined that Jaffarian did not do the engine repair properly and that my car was not to be driven. They determined I needed a new engine. The end result is that they gave me a decent price on a new RAV4, but not without much aggrevation and getting my attorney involved. Even the delivery of the new vehicle was not smooth and they never installed a front bracket for my front plate. The only reason I purchased a vehicle from them, was because I felt I HAD to buy from them, because they owed me something in return for ruining my original RAV4. More
My wife and I visited over 15 dealerships and none came close to being as BAD as this place! They tried to sell us a used, no frills 2008 Toyota Prius with a busted in, rusted door for 24,000 USD when the close to being as BAD as this place! They tried to sell us a used, no frills 2008 Toyota Prius with a busted in, rusted door for 24,000 USD when the new 2010 range start at 22,000 USD (they told us they start at 30,000USD). Horrible, sleazy, lying scum bags! Do yourself a favour and skip this place! Not sincere, not honest! What are they thinking? More
I bought a new minivan and was told it would be delivered within 2 weeks. After being told it was in than I was told it was never there however they could not tell me why I was told multiple times that it wa within 2 weeks. After being told it was in than I was told it was never there however they could not tell me why I was told multiple times that it was there. I was than informed that it would be in within two weeks and they would "comp" me for the hassle. After a month went by and I still did not have my van. Both the sales manager (John Russo) and store owner (Gary Jaffarian) avoided my calls and would not inform us when the van would be in during this period. Finally I received my deposit back after my husband threaten to sue the company for not providing the van. This has been a horrible experience and I can not believe that this behavior was from the management. I will never shop there or bring my car in for service there. More
