Very friendly experience. No presure. Ended up with the car I wanted, never was asked to make a second choice. Took a little time but I was advised of the time I would have to wait for my car to come in. car I wanted, never was asked to make a second choice. Took a little time but I was advised of the time I would have to wait for my car to come in. It's nice to come away NOT wondering if you could have done better. Would go back again. More
I brought my RAV4 in for service. The tech "forgot" to tighten a bolt on the timing gear, and 500 yards down the road, the car made a loud "bang" noise and died in the middle of the street. After 2 attem tighten a bolt on the timing gear, and 500 yards down the road, the car made a loud "bang" noise and died in the middle of the street. After 2 attempts to "fix my engine" that was damaged due to the bolt not being secure, the check engine light kept coming back on. Their final assessment was that now I needed a new computer. Another dealership diagnosed the problem and determined that Jaffarian did not do the engine repair properly and that my car was not to be driven. They determined I needed a new engine. The end result is that they gave me a decent price on a new RAV4, but not without much aggrevation and getting my attorney involved. Even the delivery of the new vehicle was not smooth and they never installed a front bracket for my front plate. The only reason I purchased a vehicle from them, was because I felt I HAD to buy from them, because they owed me something in return for ruining my original RAV4. More
My wife and I visited over 15 dealerships and none came close to being as BAD as this place! They tried to sell us a used, no frills 2008 Toyota Prius with a busted in, rusted door for 24,000 USD when the close to being as BAD as this place! They tried to sell us a used, no frills 2008 Toyota Prius with a busted in, rusted door for 24,000 USD when the new 2010 range start at 22,000 USD (they told us they start at 30,000USD). Horrible, sleazy, lying scum bags! Do yourself a favour and skip this place! Not sincere, not honest! What are they thinking? More
I bought a new minivan and was told it would be delivered within 2 weeks. After being told it was in than I was told it was never there however they could not tell me why I was told multiple times that it wa within 2 weeks. After being told it was in than I was told it was never there however they could not tell me why I was told multiple times that it was there. I was than informed that it would be in within two weeks and they would "comp" me for the hassle. After a month went by and I still did not have my van. Both the sales manager (John Russo) and store owner (Gary Jaffarian) avoided my calls and would not inform us when the van would be in during this period. Finally I received my deposit back after my husband threaten to sue the company for not providing the van. This has been a horrible experience and I can not believe that this behavior was from the management. I will never shop there or bring my car in for service there. More

My sister purchased a used car from Jaffarian the beginning of April. She got a great deal and the salesman was very nice. In mid-May, someone ran into the car and totaled it. I having been helpin beginning of April. She got a great deal and the salesman was very nice. In mid-May, someone ran into the car and totaled it. I having been helping her to get things sorted out so that she is able to get a new car. She had originally put down $2800. I knew she would not get all of it back, but I also knew she was entitled to some of it. We went to Jaffarian together to go over the paperwork and figure out how much she would get back and when. At this point, she had been without a car for 6 weeks. We told a salesman that we wanted to speak to someone in finance. He told us to have a seat and he would send someone over to help us. Gary Jaffarian ended up sitting down with us to go over the paperwork. I was asking a lot of questions becasue I wanted to be sure that my sister wasn't getting the screwed over and so that I had a clear understanding of how this process works. In the end, we figured out that $1800 is owed to her after the warranty is partially refunded. I asked if she could have that check that day because she really needs a new car. His face got not just red, but purple. He called me manipulative and told me that he explained 3 times how everything is done. I told him I just want my sister to get a car and get what she worked so hard for. He told me that she could buy a car from him because she has an IOU of $1800 with Jaffarian. An IUO? Are you serious? Are we in elementary school? Does this mean I can buy a bunch of accessories for my car and pay with an IOU? What an ass! He got so upset that I had asked for a refund that he tossed the papers back at me and stormed off. I will never put any money in that man's pocket! His temper is out of control! Apparently, his own family can't deal with him either! I do not understand why this man is still in business. If anyone is considering buying a car from him, please reconsider! There are so many other dealerships in New England! The only thing Gary Jaffarian needs to do with his money is take angry management classes! More
I actually bought a new car from them, I wish I did not. It was a new car and when I singed the contract it said it had about 5 miles. When I got the car it had almost 300 miles, which is still a new car, It was a new car and when I singed the contract it said it had about 5 miles. When I got the car it had almost 300 miles, which is still a new car, but I was upset because they lied to me. I want it to break the deal but they gave a discount of $500. Besides that when they gave me the car keys the could not find the valet key, they had no idea were it went, I just told them to forget about it, I took the car without the valet key. There were other little things that made these buy the worse ever. I told a friend about it and she told me her experience buying a car there was even worse. I would never buy or recommend Jaffarian Toyota More
After having a great experience in leasing a 2007 Volvo XC90 both the sales-service9always accomodating), we went back in to re-do a lease in October of 2009. The past salesman (Alex M) Volvo Sales XC90 both the sales-service9always accomodating), we went back in to re-do a lease in October of 2009. The past salesman (Alex M) Volvo Sales Manager (JC) and Volvo Sales manager (Paul B) were all gone. This should have been a red flag. The new cast of characters turned out to be a great bunch wherein honesty turns out to be a challenge. Much of the deal was done via email, which we thought was a good idea and it was easy, no back/forth in person, no trip to the dealership etc. Terms are negotiated, signed and we go to pick up the car. Car is dented, roof rack is broke............oddly enough, no service team member that prepped the car and or sales guy that was going to deliver noticed. We did after looking at the car for 2 minutes. A salesman later informed us that he was instructed to lie by his sales manager. We agree to take the car and get it fixed in time. (big mistake) Love the car, drive it for 4 months and now the excise tax bill comes due..............this was in the emails and negotiated in as included..........we have this in print. Jaffarians response after 2 weeks of calls............ 1) read the lease fine print 2) emails don't matter 3) you don't want to do business with us anymore...........click 4) not even a good day Anyonelse out there run into a similar deal? O and by the way...............the sales guy and the sales manager (Eric N) are no longer with Jaffarian. O and by the way................3 voicemails to Gary "redphone--service and the customer are #1" Jaffarian have gone with no call back from him directly. While the product is great, I would not recomend these folks to anyone. More
While waiting for information on a new vehicle a large man in a suit was using quite a deal of profanity in front of myself, my wife and my children. The most disturbing to me was that when I asked who h man in a suit was using quite a deal of profanity in front of myself, my wife and my children. The most disturbing to me was that when I asked who he was I was told "the owner". I would never buy a vehicle from such an unprofessional dealership. All the salesperson could do was apologize. More
I recently purchased a preowned Toyota from Jaffarian Toyota in Haverhill, (north of Boston and near Andover, Lawrence, 495). From the first time I spoke with them, to the moment I took delivery, they we Toyota in Haverhill, (north of Boston and near Andover, Lawrence, 495). From the first time I spoke with them, to the moment I took delivery, they went out of their way to help with the process. John the Sales Manager was extremely helpful and courteous. The office staff expidited paperwork late on a Friday afternoon so that I could take my newly purchased Toyota Camry LE home. Service took care of a couple of outstanding minor items very efficiently and detailed the car for delivery. Two different sales people helped get my car ready, put on the plates and had it ready for me to drive home saving me the extra 56 mile trip! I would highly recommend Jaffarian Toyota for your next car purchase or service stop. More
