We went to a dealership that was in our own city and we left there feeling like we would never buy a car from them and we wouldn't recommend them to anybody either. We were pleasantly surprised at how accommodating they were and how willing they were to meet our needs since we were an out of town customer. Rita Shugrue was our sales person and she figured out how to get the car to us to test drive because we didn't want to drive to Montgomery if we weren't sure we wanted the car. We met her, drove it and kept the car! She has been very helpful in getting all the paper work done and even helped our son figure out something about the car two weeks after we bought the car! I contacted Jack Ingram Volkswagen in July 2012 initially to inquire about a car lease for a VW Golf. As an International Student, I did not have a US phone number and I was contactable only via email for an to inquire about a car lease for a VW Golf. As an International Student, I did not have a US phone number and I was contactable only via email for an extended period of time. Fortunately, I was served by Rita Shugrue, who was prompt in replying my emails and diligent in answering my queries about the Golf. In addition, Rita was also extremely understanding of my situation as a foreign student: despite that I lack eligibility for a car lease because of my foreign status, Rita voluntarily went the extra mile to look for alternate solutions that would make me qualify for a leasing program. At the dealership, my Dad and I were impressed by the thoughtfulness, hospitality and professionalism demonstrated by Rita. Both my Dad and I felt that the service provided by Rita was excellent, and we enjoyed the process of negotiating for a car deal with her very much. Ultimately, my Dad and I purchased a Golf from Jack Ingram, and we were very satisfied with how its delivery was promptly and professionally handled by Rita.
