We did everything over phone and on line. We have been talking to Jim since March 23, 2011. We live in Tuscaloosa, which is over two hours away from the dealership. Chris Brock and the service techs he works with have made us very welcome when we need to come, and made sure we do not have to make the dealership. Absolutely the worst experience ever. I own a VW I took there to fix a coolant leak. After having my car for one week, they could not diagnose the problem. They finally claimed to have found the problem an there to fix a coolant leak. After having my car for one week, they could not diagnose the problem. They finally claimed to have found the problem and charged me over $360. To make long story short, they never did fix the problem and they admitted so. Jack Ingram Motors offered an alternate fix. I offered to pay for the part but not the labor because I know replacing a coolant tank only take 10 minutes. The guy said "Take it or leave it" and tried handing me back the key. Imagine how you'd feel about that after knowing they just charged you $360 for a random repair. No apology at any point during the conversation but ridiculed the victim (customer) after scamming them. Needless to say, I got the heck out of there after giving them an earful. It was obvious they had no intention to putting things right after doing so much wrong. Apparantly, they are quite famous for wrong reasons according to my co-workers. We just moved to the area and brought in a 2006 Audi A4 convertible with a convertible top that had been improperly repaired by a dealer in Virginia (Audi of Alexandria). Jack Ingram's staff did a great job assessing the damage and then showing us exactly what was wrong. They then repaired the damage for a very reasonable price. We are very happy customers. More
I purchased a used vehicle and had a problem right after purchasing it. Before the purchase I was treated fair, after the purchase and upon returning it to them to discuss the problem they acted as if they purchasing it. Before the purchase I was treated fair, after the purchase and upon returning it to them to discuss the problem they acted as if they was unaware work had been done previously on the vehicle. I was also told, that was not their problem even though I only had the vehicle a week. I dealt with three different people from Sales Associate, to Management, and Finance Mgr. #1 complaint they don't listen to the customer after a sale unless you are spending more money. More
