If I could give my review zero stars, I would. I have had a Hyundai car for the past 4 years. I bought my third Hyundai vehicle from Hyundai of Saint Augustine last year, a new 2023 Hyundai Palisa I have had a Hyundai car for the past 4 years. I bought my third Hyundai vehicle from Hyundai of Saint Augustine last year, a new 2023 Hyundai Palisade. I brought my Palisade to Hyundai of Saint Augustine to get a simple oil change on a Saturday. After coming home, the next day my car was leaking oil. Luckily for me, my husband is a technician and was able to fix the mistake of the technician who did not place the O-ring correctly. So we had to pay out of pocket for an entire oil filter kit in order to get a new O-ring. We reached out to Justin on Monday at 8 am and did not hear back from him until 5:30 pm that night. What if my husband was not a mechanic and I did not have a vehicle to drive? So after my husband was able to speak to Justin on Monday, Justin was unable to help and said that he had to speak to his manager. We did not hear from Justin after leaving a voicemail. We also left a voicemail for the service manager who never called us back. We did not hear from Justin again until Friday, 5 days later. We were told that we would be reimbursed for the money we had to spend to fix their technician's mistake, still have not received the reimbursement. We also asked to have my front grill to be warrantied when we came in for the oil change as the paint is delaminating. Justin said that pictures would be taken and he would bring this up to management as well. We were then told we would have to come back to the dealership Monday through Friday to have someone look at it in person. The entire point of taking pictures was to avoid having to come in on a Monday through Friday as I am a healthcare provider and do not have to ability to do that. Staff is pleasant but not very attentive. My 16 month old car (with under 13,000 miles) was recently towed in to the dealer. It had not been driven in a month. I have had Mirena for the past few years. This is my 3rd Hyundai purchase and she is fantastic. Very friendly helpful caring and makes sure that everything is done perfect with my vehicle. Very professional service rep. Justin fully explained the issues with my car. The only problem I have is with the cost of the repair. A $10 part cost me about $550 or so. The problem was with the steering servo motor couple and the labor. This is a poor design to say the least and should have been a recall. I also was looking to change the spark plugs. This requires pulling the intake manifold to get the back three. Another stupid move by the Hyundia engineering team. My suggestion to Hyundia is to line up all the engineers and have them count off by threes and then fire 1 & 2 while telling number 3 to pull his or her heads out of their butts. Better yet, put a shop mechanic in charge of approving the final designs. More
