bought a 2005 accord new and was pretty painless.with 15,000 miles on it i recieved a recall notice for the fuel pump solenoid.drop it off and service dept calls me and says they found a few problems.1 s 15,000 miles on it i recieved a recall notice for the fuel pump solenoid.drop it off and service dept calls me and says they found a few problems.1 st that i needed new brakes all around and my cabin air filter needed to be replaced.just so i could laugh i asked for a price and was told $ 850 !i asked him does it sound strange to you that i cant drive a new honda for 15,000 miles without dumping $ 850 in maintenance into it . ?told him dont do any work that will be charged for only recall.take the car to family mechanic and look at the brakes myself while on the lift and the pads had about 80% left on them.finally did front pads at 41,000 and rears around 50,000 .cant believe dealers still try to xxxx their customers like this .wont give them a dime of my buisiness and would rather pay a couple of thosand more for a new car to another dealer than to buy a car and support these thieves.dont go near their svc dept .i can imagine what they do to customers who dont know any better .outright dishonest crooks.it was so obvious it was almost laughable to see this guy try and keep a straight face .i couldnt hold back and burst out laughing when he told me . Told us on phone they had the "2" cars we wanted to lease. Got there and said cars were on another lot of theirs nearby. Ready to agree to terms and now say they have "1" lesser model for sam wanted to lease. Got there and said cars were on another lot of theirs nearby. Ready to agree to terms and now say they have "1" lesser model for same price and would have to locate the other and will call us back. No call so we call them. Lesser model may be there in 4-5 days but can't guarantee it and other car, they have no idea when it would be there! WHAT A WAY TO GET OUT OF AN AGREEMENT! !! again, my 80 year old mother is devastated! !!! I HATE CAR SALESMAN AND DEALERSHIPS! !!! More
I bought a brand new honda cr-v LX(4wd,white) on the last memorial day. Jay suh was a professional guy who was very honest and kind. He showed me exactly what i want with very low interest rate(0.9%)and abs memorial day. Jay suh was a professional guy who was very honest and kind. He showed me exactly what i want with very low interest rate(0.9%)and absolutely no hidden fee.All paperworks of the contract was simple and clear. Moreover,I hadn't had enough money to put downpayment and he helped me to put the downpayment into the whole payment easily so i couldn't help signing the contract. I had a very happy experience because Jay suh is the best dealer i've ever met. More

Sharron the salesperson was very warm and honest, we spoke on the phone and she told me that she has the car I car interested in on the lot. I went in and she showed me the car. Everything looked good a spoke on the phone and she told me that she has the car I car interested in on the lot. I went in and she showed me the car. Everything looked good and we went inside to make a deal. Once we had agreed to an okay price she said that she wanted to check to see if they had another on in stock because this one had over 400 miles. WHAT?! Her manager said there were no other and basically told me to take it or leave it. That the miles were from test driving and it was still new. Offered to take a tiny bit off of the price which only brought it down to other dealership quotes for new cars without miles. I walked out. More

I've recommended this dealer to many of my friends and family. Everyone always has a positive experience. The service department is a pleasure to deal with as well. I've read some of the other reviews and don't believe everything that other people write. If you are in the market for a new car, you definitely want to buy it at South Shore Honda. More
After ordering my Honda CRV, I was told near delivery, it wasn't available, but I could have the next model up for only $20 a month more. We said no, and all of a sudden my car was available. I should have k wasn't available, but I could have the next model up for only $20 a month more. We said no, and all of a sudden my car was available. I should have known the old bait and switch distraction. I just learned that a friend leased this years exact same model with zero down (I put down 4000) and 285 a month (I am paying $380) I was overcharged so much I am embarassed and humiliated. More
I read the reviews of the three Honda dealers within easy distance from my home and was apalled by how negative most reviewers' opinions were of the sales staffs. I was on the verge of not even looking at a distance from my home and was apalled by how negative most reviewers' opinions were of the sales staffs. I was on the verge of not even looking at a Honda but I decided to give it a stab while being ready to walk out at the first sign of anything that bugged me. South Shore was the closest to my home, and I'd bought a car there many years ago, so I decided I'd go there. To tell the truth, I had the best car leasing experience of my life. And I've leased at least half a dozen cars before. There were a couple of models my wife and I were interested in, but my sales associate, Ziggy, clarified the differences between them and I decided to get one of the Civics. My only issue was which color and whether to get a four door or a coupe. Once I decided, the leasing process was a cinch. My son had just leased a similar car and got a very good deal at his dealer in New Jersey. So I was prepared to leave if I couldn't get something similar. Ziggy showed me several payment options, and though I chose something slightly different than my son's, the result was just as good. Everything took about an hour and half, including the usual talk with a finance officer (Andre, a nice guy, but hard to hear because he mumbles in a quiet voice). We went back the next day to pick up the car, and Ziggy was ready for us at our appointed time. Within an hour, he had handled all the paper work, given us instructions on the use of the car, and shook our hands in congratulations. It really was, slam, bam, thank you, M'am. I have no idea of what happened with those who didn't have a good experience at South Shore, but I've had my own share of lousy car buying experiences so I know how things can go wrong. Happily, they did not this time, for which I'm very grateful. More
The management in this dealership is the most unprofessional I have ever interacted with. The General Manager, Ed Parlow is not qualified to run a dealership. Honda of America needs to know the unprofessional I have ever interacted with. The General Manager, Ed Parlow is not qualified to run a dealership. Honda of America needs to know the type of individuals representing their product. My experience makes me wonder what Honda is really thinking about when it comes to customer service. It surprises me that this dealership is still in business. The women in charge of customer service, Sabrina Smith had personally apologized to me for the level of service and went so far as to tell me many of the sale people working there should have been fired a log time ago. Imagine a representative of the dealership admitting the staff is incompetent. Rest assured I will be reaching out to Honda corporate. More
I went to this dealer, after going to like 5 other Honda dealers, and I must say that its smaller than the other dealers I went to, but the atmosphere was very customer friendly. Everyone said hello and ask dealers, and I must say that its smaller than the other dealers I went to, but the atmosphere was very customer friendly. Everyone said hello and asked me if i needed assistance. I finally came across an older man named Bill. I purchased my Accord v6 from Bill because he was very thorough and honest. I must admit, When I first came in the dealer i based it upon size, thinking they wouldnt have much in their inventory, but they had the car I wanted. There was no stress at this dealer and the price was right! I will be going back after my lease is over. More
