Took my 2016 Honda Accord to get repaired, not only did they keep the car for a couple days and charge me $2,000+ they did nothing to it. This has been going on for over a month I’ve been nice and as a result I’ve gotten screwed over. They’ve lost pieces of my vehicle and my hood doesn’t close properly now. I HAVE RECEIPTS for everything they claim they fixed. I Need my car fixed ASAP or a refund. Make things right HONDA OF DOWNTOWN! More

Deceptive business practices, False Advertising, poor communication, and terrible customer service! Where do I begin, I was searching for a New Black Odyssey Touring, the Honda website sucks for searchin communication, and terrible customer service! Where do I begin, I was searching for a New Black Odyssey Touring, the Honda website sucks for searching for inventory and a lot of what they showed doesn’t exist. So I finally went to Norm Reeves Honda and they found me a car. We agreed to a deal which was simple because I am an employee of Acura. They told me there was only one black car out there and they couldn’t get a hold of anyone to do a trade so I called DTLA Honda myself and asked them as a courtesy if they would either trade it to Norm Reeves or If I had to buy it there. I got ahold of Lui a sales guy there and told him the situation of me being in the business and the Norm Reeves trade. I had inquired online before hand to make sure they had the car. Lui told me I had to buy from them, and worked out some initial numbers for me. I told him I had a Honda employee Plan and that I was a long time manager in the car business. He presented initial numbers, after getting the numbers I sent back the employee pricing (which he failed to give me) the money factor, rebates, and factory incentives. He said that he would get with his manager and get back to me. He then texted back the new payment, the price was corrected but the payment was still higher than what I calculated. I questioned him and he sent me the deal structure. He was missing a loyalty rebate of $1,000 that I qualified for, so I asked him a few times to put it in. He said his manager refused and that was the lowest payment he was willing to give. I was upset because I do qualify for those things, and I knew he was going to try to hold the rebates for extra profit, but figured he has the only car in black. So I understand. He told me he could do a few dollars more as courtesy and we negotiated to 438 I told him 420 is my offer. My wife and I slept on it and decided to take the Deal. I texted Lui and told him we slept on it, and we are good to go at 438 he asked me for the down payment 1178.00 for drive off’s and told me to fill out the credit application. I finished the credit application at 11:38am. He sent me a form for the down payment and I paid it and started making plans to meet him for pick up at 6:00pm in Anaheim essentially half way. In the mean time he sends me a picture of 2 scratches on the bumper and says don’t worry your lease forgiveness will cover the cost at the end of lease, I know it is about $150 to spray a bumper so I asked him to either fix it or take off $200. His manager approved $200 and a new payment of 431 and change. I agreed and sent Lui address of location to meet in Anaheim. I Headed out early from work because of rush hour traffic. I called and texted Lui to let him know I was on my way and I got Radio silence. I got to the meet up spot at 6:10 and called and texted Lui about 5 times trying to figure out what was going on, and if he was on his way. I finally called the store and kept getting passed to their phone room and then magically got an email refunding my deposit. I called two more times and Lui finally called me back and said my credit score didn’t qualify for the best rates, funny I ran my credit and it was well over what he said and beside that anything over a 660 with Honda still qualifies for top tier lease rates. He had 4 hours to run the credit submit to the bank and get the lease approved. So I called Lui out on this, and then he said “my General Manager looked at the deal and said that I could buy the Car at MSRP.” So I am now in Anaheim awaiting his arrival left early from work. Didn’t receive a call about any of this, then I went back through my emails and texts to see if I missed anything and I found this “My general manager asked me to reach out to you because we have activated employee pricing for the next 3 days. What this means for you is that you will be able to pay what we pay for a vehicle of your choice” Irony is they send that to everyone and I am an actual Team Honda/Acura employee. I texted Lui, to have his General Manager call me. I haven’t gotten a call from any manager. I drove home and contacted the FTC to file a formal complaint for false advertising, misleading statements, and consumer privacy issues. All they had to do was tell me they didn’t want to sell me the car!!! Instead they wanted to play games. Do yourself a favor call another Honda dealership and avoid these clowns. More
