Sales man was awesome - service manager not so much I bought a pre-owned 2017 CRV. My sales rep, Khoa, was great. The next morning my battery was dead and needed a jump to get it running. Once running, every service inquiry was popping up on my dash. The dealership opened at 8 but took until 8:35 for someone to pick up the phone to help me. The service team took my car right away and expedited my service. The problem was that when I talked to the Service Manager Marc, he didn't do much to make me feel better that my BRAND NEW car was already at the dealership. It was more like "We expedited your service, what else do you want" I realize they see hundreds of cars a day and deal with a lot of people. I just wanted peace of mind and maybe something for my trouble as a good faith gesture. More
Snobby Sales Representative We came to Honda West in Las Vegas with an intention of buying a brand new 2018 Honda Fit LX. At the entrance, a cold sales representative greeted us and showed us the model that we were looking for. The dealership did not have the Fit LX model on the lot to test drive, so we took a more expensive model, Fit EX. The salesperson, Jilmar Esperanza, did not let us drive the car for longer than it takes to drive around the block where the dealership is located. He would direct us where to turn which didn't give us a chance to see how it drives on a highway. Before the test drive, Jilmar went through the price of the car and "reduced" all of the additional fees, which seemed very nice of him. However, after the test drive, he didn't let us discuss the price of the car, he went straight to collecting our information for financing and acted surprised when we didn't agree to buy the most basic economy car for $21,000. Not too long ago we bought a brand new Honda Civic LX CVT from AutoNation Honda East Las Vegas for $21,400. On the way out he seemed upset that I would not sign financing paperwork with my personal information so they can "keep them in the system." Jilmar did not come off outright rude, but his calm attitude and lack of dialogue creeped us out. Also, he assured us that we would not be able to find a cheaper option for the car that we wanted. Came in w/o an appt for oil change and left an hour later. Immediate courteous service. Nice lounge. Tina was attentive and when realized from out of town got us in and out. Almost died Hello. Today I had an appointment Friday 11/3 230pm. There was special order part that had arrived for my battery cable to be replaced. The work wa Hello. Today I had an appointment Friday 11/3 230pm. There was special order part that had arrived for my battery cable to be replaced. The work was done and I left Just after 5pm. Once I left your service center I went to the gym nearby on Sahara and Decatur. On my way to the gym the dashboard lit up and it was the orange engine light on my dashboard left hand side. I was at the gym for just over an hour. When I stepped into my car and tried to start it, the car was hesitant and slowly turning over. I tried it a second time and the car started but now the dashboard red battery light had illuminated along side the orange engine light that previously lit up as well. I was planning to bring the car back to your service center but it was past 630pm. As I was driving my car home another dashboard light illuminated, this time it was the orange ABS light on the right hand side. At this point I have no idea what is going on????? Am I safe in my car to drive home????? I did make it home and waited for my partner to come home so he could follow me to your service center. I did not feel safe driving 25 minutes with my car acting the way it was. It barely turned over when I started it at my house, shortly after I was on the road with my partner following behind me in his car. I had him follow me in case the car broke down somewhere along the way. While driving over the speedometer completely stopped and all needles on my dashboard were inactive! I had no idea how fast I was going and when I did stop at a red light the car would barely move and jerked back and forward at times. I was caught in an intersection on Flamingo and Durango, the car had slowed down and wasn’t accelerating, I could’ve been hit by oncoming traffic and died! I drove the rest of the way with an inactive dashboard and speedometer not knowing if I was going to cause some kind of fatal car accident to myself or another driver. I brought my car in Friday 11/3 230pm so it could be worked on and instead your service team and technician allowed me to leave with a faulty car that could have KILLED ME or someone else. I also brought my car in on my day off so I wouldn’t be inconvenienced with having to work the same day. It will be Saturday 11/4 when you read this and now I am being inconvenienced by having to work this afternoon and I have no car to run errands and go to work on time. I have always brought my car to this service center for many years and always bought Honda cars. I am completely disappointed and pissed off that this happened to me. My statement/bill/invoice has a HONDA MULTI-POINT VEHICLE INSPECTION CHECKLIST all of which was reported in the GREEN/SATISFACTORY, but that was INCORRECT. The technician that worked on my vehicle Keoni Jumawan Pantil did not do his job and neither did the service advisor Colby Colte. I also had my car serviced on 10/19/17 and that HONDA MULTI-POINT VEHICLE INSPECTION CHECKLIST was all in the GREEN/SATISFACTORY as well from your service center. So now what can you do??? I would be suing you if I got into a fatal car accident today. How do I know that my car is in great hands and working properly after going to your service center?? I do not expect to pay for any services regarding this matter. I would like you to correct your improper service that you gave to me and my vehicle. I have left my car in a parking spot and completed the overnight/early morning envelope so that you can correct this issue ASAP. More
