Put a bandaid on Honda recall work on my Honda Pilot We brought our Honda Pilot in on Jan 18th via an apt Hinshaw's Acura made due to a fuel smell and a recall on the pistons.I bought the Pilot from Acur We brought our Honda Pilot in on Jan 18th via an apt Hinshaw's Acura made due to a fuel smell and a recall on the pistons.I bought the Pilot from Acura a month ago, I smelled fuel after driving and it was running a lil rough, so I brought it back to Acura (BTW Acura Fife is a dealership that gives excellent service) and the master tech diagnosed and pulled up a RECALL BULLETIN up that requited the pistons to be repaired. So, The service MANAGER at Acura then called Auburn Hinshaw's HONDA and set me an apt to repair as a Honda recall can only be repaired by a Honda dealer. They acted like there was no apt and knew nothing about a recall when I called to tell them we are on our way. They said we will check it out and ignored the who diagnostic that Acura's master technician did. Then, called us the next day and said it's ready for pick up, they just put 3 new spark plugs in to PUT A BAND AID ON THE PROBLEM. Instead of doing the piston job!!!! I'm now on a mission to hold them accountable and do the recall on my vehicle. Beware this location for service, they didn't want to explain the issue and were elusive, I believe ,100% because they just didn't make enough on the job to do it! More

He knew a lot of the different year models for the Honda Civics and was very informative of the complete process in buying a car. You could tell he was an honest guy and gave great tips about maintenance and things that he suggested we did/did not need. The Auburn dealership itself was great and clean. Everyone we met was great. The cars were also kept clean and they have many options, especially many newer model Honda Civics with low milage. Be sure to take a look at their used car stock before you go because they keep it well maintained and there are online only deals that you can look at. More

As we walked toward the door, we noticed a man opening the door for us. He welcomed us to the dealership and asked if he could help us. Turns out the gentleman who opened the door was our salesman, Pat Maloney. He was very knowledgeable about the Honda we were wanting to buy, and offered brochures and information that was very helpful. Not once did we feel pressured to buy, which is a plus in my book. He is a professional, who is a very good listener. He went out of his way to get us the best deal possible. After getting a "bottom line" price for the CR-V EX-L, we decided to upgrade to the CR-V Touring vehicle. No problem....Pat got to work refiguring out "out-the-door" cost, and the deal was sealed.
