I bought my MDX a couple of years ago from Hinshaw. The only thing better than the buying experience is the service. I was a little concerned going for the first time as I had no relationship with this de only thing better than the buying experience is the service. I was a little concerned going for the first time as I had no relationship with this dealer. Trust was quickly earned as I thought I needed a routine repoair and in fact I did not. A little software update (at no charge) and my very newly cleaned car and I were on our way. I have since gone for oil changes and very recently a computer failure. Although it cost me this time, I felt the staff did a great job educating me on the issue and not only fixed it to my satisfaction but delivered a great experience. I expect any dealership to deliver on the basics. Hinshaw's builds trust and give a differentiating customer experience. I will continue to go back and they are easy to recommend. More

I only went in to Hinshaw's Acura to rule it out as an option and to reinforce my 1st choice. But after driving the RDX, and comparing safety ratings, performance, and price I ended up purchasing it t an option and to reinforce my 1st choice. But after driving the RDX, and comparing safety ratings, performance, and price I ended up purchasing it that afternoon. Devin was EXCELLENT. He didn't try to BS me or give me that hard sell crap. He was helpful and informative without the prententious attitude some sales people have. Another huge plus was that unlike some other brands I looked at, there was none of the mix and match package options and features BS. I didn't have to add a heated brake pedal to get Bluetooth connectivity. There are exactly 2 packages: standard and technology. Because the base vehicle comes with most everything available besides NAV, I took the standard package. The dealership was great, Devin was great, my RDX is great, and my overall experience was outstanding. More
My overall experience with the salesman (David) was good. He worked with me and even drove to my office to do the paperwork. However the car I bought was a disaster!! I purchased a 745Li form them, low miles for the year and in David's words "immaculate". This could not have been further from the truth. I drove the car for 125 miles roughly and my driveway was covered in coolant. I took the car to the shop and was told of the numerous problems with the car....Internal coolant pipe leak, water pump, valve cover gaskets, rectifier for the blower, ALL of which in their opinion had occured long before I purchased the car. Of course the dealership says it did a full inspection and everything passed with flying colors.....One small problem I was told about that statement from the shop is that the battery in the car was never registered to the vehicle (this needs to be done on BMW's) hard to imagine that this car was checked inside and out and yet that was not noted or fixed by the dealer. I paid over 3K for the repairs on an "imaaculate" vehicle....STAY AWAY from used cars from these guys.....like I said, sales staff is not bad and I am sure a new vehicle purchase would be a good experience, used however not a chance. More
Given that I expect great service, I wasn't surprised that I got it. Everyone was helpful, friendly and respectful. Facility was comfortable, organized. Originally I would've rated them with all 5 stars because our car salesman was very enthusiastic and everyone else worked together with him and us and were all very helpful in getting us an amazing d because our car salesman was very enthusiastic and everyone else worked together with him and us and were all very helpful in getting us an amazing deal on a car. But there was a "miscommunication" where we were told and under the impression that the car we were getting came with a certain amenity that actually was not true, however we did not find this out until after we left the dealership with this car. This certain amenity was important to us, not worth thousands of dollars to have/add on but that's what were told when we went back the next day to sort things out & it was never my intention to get angry or loud or turn it into a "he said, she said" thing but I definitely felt like my issue was being treated like it was a petty thing. Like they were trying to persuade me it wasn't worth it because I'm getting such a great deal already that wanting a feature (that again I thought was standard) was being selfish and that I should just accept that "I get what I pay for"...right, NO! I do understand paying less means less amenities but this is not a coffee maker or purse or a battery operated neck massager, this is a $30,000 purchase-something I will drive almost everyday for at least the next 7 years so no I do not believe it was petty or selfish for that matter. Had we truly known this wasn't a standard feature of this car then of course we would have discussed other models more the day before-since we were there for hours going over details & numbers (not uncommon when car shopping I know). And after explaining things and getting to the point of feeling vulnerable I did not like hearing "well don't you think he (the car salesman) knows a little about what he's doing since he's been doing it for a few years?" Was that supposed to mean I was making things up? Why would I be back the very next day? And to answer about the salesman, yeah I do think he does know how to do his job which is why I trusted that the car had this certain feature and also trusted/assumed that if not, he would have shown us other car options with the features we said we wanted. Anyway, to cut a very long day & story short - we DID end up resolving things and I was able to make peace with the car salesman. I will still recommend people to this Acura dealership because they did let me have my rant and after a bit of stubbornness (on both our parts) were willing and able to get us into a different car with the feature we wanted and for pretty much the same deal we got the day before. Or maybe they made a lot of good sales that day already so they just wanted me to go away lol! Overall & in the end I am appreciative of their patience & customer service and do feel our car salesman was genuine with trying to help us, not just someone trying upsell us for a commission. More

I have been coming to see Kelly and the Hinshaw's Acura Service team for about 2 years now, and I have to say, they are some of the most helpful, understanding, and reasonable people I could hope to Acura Service team for about 2 years now, and I have to say, they are some of the most helpful, understanding, and reasonable people I could hope to interact with. My questions are always promptly answered, and the time I spend in the dealership is always painless. I have been extremely pleased with how accommodating and flexible they have been, especially with my busy schedule. I would recommend them to anyone who needs service on their vehicle. More
Devin Arndt did a very nice job of assisting us in our search for the right car for our needs. He was enthusiastic about his job and showed a depth of knowledge about Acura products.
