They lie. When I bought the Volvo they added on closing fees. When I protested I was told it was mandatory and everyone is charged. I was shown a plaque about closing costs and was repeatedly lied to. I contacted the BBB about being forced to pay this and the pressure tactic used on me. BBB told me that the fee was not in fact mandatory. The plaque shown to me was how much can be charged, not that is was mandatory. This was just another way to increase their profit margin. BBB explained my option was to walk away.. The dealer had no signs or guidelines so the consumer is not blindsided. I've been in for service with the car and have been pleased with how I've been treated. The sales and service are managed completely different. The sales person was there and wouldn't make eye contact. I would not buy another vehicle from this dealer or other Hendrick related dealers. More

Fast, friendly service department Over the weekend I had an issue with the covertible's open/close button. They took me as a walk-in Monday before 10am and were able to fix my issue a Over the weekend I had an issue with the covertible's open/close button. Service visit My Volvo XC90 went in to Volvo of Charleston because the front right sensor was not working properly! I also had a remote key that wasn't working! Service appointment Virgil Smith greeted me when I arrived for my appointment with a great smile. He had everything ready for me and escorted me to the waiting area. He showed me where the coffee and goodies were located and told me to make myself at home. If I needed anything to please let him know. I was there for the 120k mile checkup and the process took about 1.5 hours. When I got the car back, the inside had been totally cleaned and vacuumed. It was not washed due to the fact that it was raining. I am extremely pleased with the visit. Virgil went over all the paperwork with me to let me see what was done and any recommendations for the next visit at 125k miles. More
