I bought a Jeep in 2008 from them and each time I took it in for service I asked them to do whatever was needed for warranties. I was told when I bought it, it needed transmission service at 30,000 and 60,00 in for service I asked them to do whatever was needed for warranties. I was told when I bought it, it needed transmission service at 30,000 and 60,000 miles. I did this, and as usual when I did service I asked them to do any service necessary for warranty and I also know I commented after this was I did not want to lose any warranties. The 30,000 service is clearly present on a work order and shows fluid changes with the transmission and power train. It also lists Powertrain warranty check. During the next few years I had it serviced at the proper mileage. Being that I worked away from home and it got less than normal miles I was told at some point I lost part of my warranty because it was supposed to have the oil changed by mileage or 3 months which ever came first (a nice scam to get money from the owner regularly whether they need it or not). As shown by all oil and synthetic oil producers their product lasts many times longer than service companies say. I wasn’t told this.. I went in for the 60,000 mile major service and as every time before I asked for everything to be done that maintains warranty. This service changed every fluid in the Jeep and inspects everything in the powertrain as well I had the timing belt and down to the spark plugs changed. This service costed just short of $2,000. Up to yesterday a couple of years and 8,000 more miles. I had a shifter cable break. Should have been changed under the warranty I so carefully protected, or so I thought. I was told by my service advisor Cathrine, that I did not have any powertrain warranty. She checked further and told me I lost my warranty because I had not brought it in for the Powertrain Inspection which checks fluids in the transmission and must be done ever 5 years and within 30 days of the anniversary of the vehicle going in to service. I was never told this but the service person in the past must have reminded me because when I took it in for its major service in 2018 it was within days of that anniversary. I told her I had the powertrain serviced at the proposed time as shown on my paperwork when I paid almost $2000. Now she tells me that I did not ask for the Powertrain inspection by name at the time of the service so it was not done and the warranty was no longer in force. I told her I had never asked for this by name and was never told this. She, obviously saying I was lying said she was looking at the first service which had it listed and it was the only thing I had requested so I was lying and did know bout it. Well, I looked up the paperwork, funny how you keep that when you are trying to keep warranties and saw yes it was listed but what she didn’t say was it was at the same time I had the first major transmission service when I had the fluids changed in the powertrain as well as an oil change. So tough luck I had to pay over $600 to replace a cable that is listed when I googled it for around $300. Then when I looked closer I saw it was her , Catherine who was on the paperwork for the 2018 major service where the powertrain warranty was left off. So the end was even though I had everything that was on the inspection done in a $2000 service and had said please do everything needed to keep the warranty, because I did not say the magic words about the powertrain inspection I lost the warranty. It did not matter all the points were covered, I didn’t say the magic words. I have passed this on to Jeep and to the dealer management maybe they will see better as to what I think happened that she forgot to do the piece of paper for the powertrain warranty when I had my $2000 service and is now trying to cover it up rather than have issues at work. Spoke with general manager to "make things right" and heard the same song and dance! Interestingly too, the published price that was wrong and "could not be fixed because of system restriction" miraculou heard the same song and dance! Interestingly too, the published price that was wrong and "could not be fixed because of system restriction" miraculously got fixed!!! Set the price to lure you in and lie to you when you are on site, so sad! Dealt with their competitor in Burgaw and got an honest and fair deal! More
Old bate and switch sales tactics! Advertise a price on line and in actuality the price is $8000 higher! Crooked business practices! Used factory take offs to boost price! I understand labor should be comp line and in actuality the price is $8000 higher! Crooked business practices! Used factory take offs to boost price! I understand labor should be compensated, but gouging on take offs is laughable!!!! More
We’ve dealt with neurwirth in the past and liked them enough to go back. However, we’re displeased with our latest purchase and how things were handled.. or not handled. We were looking for a car for our enough to go back. However, we’re displeased with our latest purchase and how things were handled.. or not handled. We were looking for a car for our son, a Mercedes that overall looked to be in good shape, except the trunk did not shut all the way on one side. Although it did seal, it did not look that great. We asked if we could take it to get an estimate on what it would cost to fix, being if it was a lot this would be a deal breaker, and our salesperson said he would do that for us. When we arrived the next day, we were told the car had been taken to Port City Collision for inspection of trunk and it would only be about “100 to 500” depending on what they found. We thought this wouldn’t be too bad. Neurwirth said they would not fix the trunk as they couldn’t put anymore money into the car? After purchasing the car, we took to Mercedes dealership that then informed us that was incorrect, that it wasn’t even the original trunk, and would START at $1,000 to be fixed! Also said the oil was dark and murky and needed changed. What money did they put into it?! We thought at least the oil would’ve been checked. The part that really made us unhappy was when I received an email asking if we were happy, I told them what we had found out about the trunk and felt Someone was not completely honesty with us., . that somebody should’ve been able to tell it wasn’t the original trunk when the “estimate” was done? We never heard back from anyone there, and no response to our email. We will probably go somewhere else for our next purchase. More
Neuwirth Motors Hello, I went car shopping at Neuwirth Dodge Motors last November to look for a pre-own Dodge Ram pickup vehicle. I was greeted by Salesman Dakota, Hello, I went car shopping at Neuwirth Dodge Motors last November to look for a pre-own Dodge Ram pickup vehicle. I was greeted by Salesman Dakota, who made me feel comfortable at the showroom and he showed me around the car lot and guided us through the available pickups there. I must say that this was my best car shopping experience ever. Dakota was very informative and he was answering very question of my patiently. Nowadays, it commonly seen that car salesmen just don’t do enough good job and their only objective is to get money out of your wallet. But, salesman like Dakota delivers an incredible service and gives a very pleasant experience. We will be coming to your showroom for the years ahead. Regards, Larry F. More

Sold vehicle out from under me Sales Specialist Noel Ayala and Sales Manager Kevin (forgot his last name) are a bunch of characters. Drove to Wilmington from Richlands on Dec 27 to Sales Specialist Noel Ayala and Sales Manager Kevin (forgot his last name) are a bunch of characters. Drove to Wilmington from Richlands on Dec 27 to look at a 2019 Durango. They worked up some numbers but we decided to go through Navy Federal for financing. WE got back home and NFCU approved us for the loan amount on the sale sheet. My wife contacted Mr. Ayala around 6:45 to let him know we had been approved and would be back on Saturday Dec 28th to purchase the vehicle. I contacted Mr. Ayala again on Saturday morning and left him a message that we would be there at 2:00 pm to purchase the vehicle. We received a phone message from Mr. Ayala around 9:30 am returning my call stating that he would see us at 2:00 pm to finish the purchase of the vehicle. I called him again at 10:05 and spoke directly with Mr. Ayala he assured me that he would have everything ready at 2:00 pm for us. When we got there we sat at his desk for an hour then the sales manager Kevin came over told us that the Durango we were to purchase had been sold to someone else. THIS IS PROCESS IS UNACCEPTABLE. Mr. Ayala assured us the vehicle would be ready for US at 2:00 pm. Then the sales manager Kevin wanted to try and sell us something we did not want. Saying he was sorry. The proper action that should have been taken by both was to ask us before we left Friday night if we could leave a deposit to hold the vehicle or when I spoke to my Ayala on Saturday he should have pulled the vehicle off the sales lot at that time. I WILL NEVE DEAL WITH THIS PLACE AGAIN. I DROVE AN HOUR BOTH WAYS AND WASTED 3 HOURS OF MY TIME AND HAD A CREDIT CHECK RAN MY CREDIT FOR NOTHING. I AM TELLING EVERYONE I SEE TO NEVER BUY FROM HERE. I WILL SEE A LOT OF PEOPLE THERE AS I HAVE A LIFE TIME POWER TRAIN WARRENTY ON MY CURRENT DURANGO THAT HAS TO BE SERVICED AT NEUWIRTH DODGE. More
