David Henriquez at Harbor Chevrolet was a great salesman. He contacted me multiple times letting me know that he was going to hold the vehicle for me until I was able to come in and pick it up. There was no haggling involved with him and he was short and concise with the questions I had about the vehicle and the sale. When it came down to looking at my trade in value and financing was going to be, he was completely honest with everything and did not pressure me into anything, even with my obvious signs of hesitation and nervousness. There was a slight hiccup without the arrival time of the vehicle which ruined the surprise for my wife but that was out of Lamars control. He was very apologetic and made up the time at tue end to accommodate us. Due to his flexibility, I was able to at least get the vehicle before the tint shop closed so that I could get that done. Joni was my first contact. She sent me an email that told me that she would send me her "best internet deal," which turned out to be the same price as the one listed in the advertisement. When I commented that this was misleading, she flippantly remarked, "is it?" I then waited another three hours for her to tell me that her Manager told said he could take $200.00 off. I told her that was too much, and that I knew the Kelley Blue Book was $700.00 less. I then thanked her and called Delillo in Huntington Beach, who had a similar HHR model and made an appointment to drive up the next day. The next morning, however, I decided to drive over to Harbor Chevrolet, which is much closer, to see if there was any way to swing a deal. There I met Dallas, who listened to my needs and got the deal done. It wasn't so much the money, but a good deal is a state of mind, and I felt that Joni was going through the motions. Example: she left a message that there were no other Panels out there, even though I'd located three other models. One at Cerritos, one at Harbor, and one at Delillo. It wasn't that Joni was rude or unprofessional, but I felt she didn't take me seriously, even though I told her I intended to purchase and put 5K down. Overall, my experiance with Harbor was great, thanks to Dallas and the manager on duty (who's name escapes me.) More

An older male whom I believe was the dealer manager (sorry i forgot his name since i was excited about my new car :) also came out and said hello to us and ensured we were well taken care of and happy w/ our purchase and service. I was very impressed w/ the fact that although it seemed there were other customers in the building we were given full attention from our sales representatie and also noticed the other customers were greeted by other employees who werent as busy. This dealership is under construction but is doing a great job at efficiently working and servicing their customers while they are under construction.
