My key experience was with my sales person, Lupe Bolanos. He listened clearly to my preferences, showed me the vehicles that fit with my needs, and was thoroughly professional. Oct 8th scheduled service. Issue identified and a part had to be ordered. Estimate arrival Saturday or Monday. Associate said when the part arrives that I can show up to get it repaired that day -- not th had to be ordered. Estimate arrival Saturday or Monday. Oct 14th I visited the parts desk for an update on the part. Associate said there was an issue with the order. Went missing or something. They will call when the part arrives. Oct 19th called parts twice, no answer Oct 20th called parts. Associate failed to find any order for my name nor phone number. Said they will call back. Did not call back. Oct 21st visit the parts desk. Associate said part is here and has been "for some time." Visit service desk with no slots open 28th-30th. Schedule 28th due to my work schedule. Oct 28th repair completed and no issues with it since. Low rating for the weeks it took to be repaired (Oct 8th - Oct 28th), no call from parts/service that the part had arrived or to schedule repair service, and it taking me to physically visit to get an answer. The biggest issue to me was the associate saying the part has been there "for some time." That would suggest that I could have possibly gotten a slot to get the part replaced in week 2 instead of having to take an open slot the following week. Who knows how much longer it would have taken to schedule the repair had I not visited the 21st to speak to both Parts and Service. More
We just bought a Tiguan from Cristian at the Gurnee Volkswagen! It was a great experience and he was there through entire process. He was patient and thorough and most of all listened to our needs.
