My service advisor today was obviously sick, coughing inside my car and while standing close to me, and was not wearing a mask. As someone who (a) is wearing a mask and (b) has a compromised immune syste inside my car and while standing close to me, and was not wearing a mask. Wasn’t overly impressed with my experience. I came in for a brake bleed and was told there was grinding and they needed an hour for diagnosis before they could bleed. I accepted the hour even t I came in for a brake bleed and was told there was grinding and they needed an hour for diagnosis before they could bleed. I accepted the hour even though I didn’t hear grinding my whole hour drive in. They said one bleeder wasn’t touched off completely and I had gotten grease all over my pads and ruined my rotors. They then offered to still bleed the brakes for me but at $650 rate because of it being a Touareg with Brembos. I declined the bleed. I took the care home and took it apart, there was no grease on anything. I took it to a different VW dealer and got the brakes bled for $120 plus tax. Not sure what they were trying to do with the $650 but they aren’t getting it from me. More
