Wipers I showed up to the service department without an appointment because I was having trouble with my wipers. I was acknowledged right away and my car was taken for a test ride. When it came back I was informed that the wipers would be replaced at no cost to me. I really appreciate that the work was done right away and that I did not have to come back a different time. More
Great car-buying experience I recently bought a 2019 Tiguan at VW Gurnee dealership and had a great experience. Sandi, another colleague of Sandi, the Sales manager Josh, and the I recently bought a 2019 Tiguan at VW Gurnee dealership and had a great experience. Sandi, another colleague of Sandi, the Sales manager Josh, and the Finance manager Rayan all were super friendly and helped me make my purchase a successful one. They were great listeners and answered away all my questions with professionalism. They were willing to work with me on the new car price and trade-in value to meet my financial need. I was able to drive my new car away in two visits! p.s.: Sandi always has a smile on his face, and is good at remembering customer's names. I trust other fellow car buyers will have a great experience working with him as I did. More
Service Department is Not Ran Well Took my car in for check engine light and my turn signals and brake lights weren’t working. After a week they said they fixed the check engine light a Took my car in for check engine light and my turn signals and brake lights weren’t working. After a week they said they fixed the check engine light and the lights not working was as simple as ALL BULBS were burnt out. When I picked up the vehicle I decided to test the bulbs before I left. I found out the new bulb did not help. I then found out that the bulbs worked at certain times, if the car was on or off. So I left the car there for them to look at again. After a week or so and having to call back numerous times since they wouldn’t call me back, they decided it was a bad fuse box. I asked if this was the same part replaced last year when it was in, they said no. So they then had to check if the warranty would cover it. After another week and having to call them for updates I finally got an update that they were waiting on the warranty company. I called the warranty company and within 20 minutes I was able to get an approval for the repair. I called the service department back and told them it was covered. They then had to order the part. After another week the car was finally ready. When I picked up the car they told me I owed the $100 deductible, again. I explained how I already paid that when I attempted to pick up the car the first time. They cleared that up. I then asked for the previous repairs from last year. On last years invoice there was the fuse box they just replaced. So not even a year later the fuse box had to be replaced again. And after complaining to the service tech, how I had to diagnose the problem for them and how they didn’t even try to see why the bulbs weren’t working, he just walked away. I shouldn’t have had to diagnose the problem for them or have to call them back every week to get an update. I shouldn’t of had to even call the warranty company to get the approval. It seemed as if they didn’t put the effort into repairing my car. Why did they tell me the fuse box wasn’t replaced last year when I saw it in the invoice? More

Worst car buying experience ever. Avoid!!! Although all my 2018 Jettas issues were FINALLY resolved, I had to fight the dealer every inch of the way to get our problems fixed. Of the two keys, Although all my 2018 Jettas issues were FINALLY resolved, I had to fight the dealer every inch of the way to get our problems fixed. Of the two keys, only one FOB worked. Although the car was [supposedly] given an alignment, there was a HUGE dent under the rear passenger door on the frame by the rear tire (how did they miss that dent!!!). It took weeks to get it fixed by the dealer, who kept dragging their feet. Although we did NOT ask for auto theft tracking to be installed on the car, Sandi went ahead and did it anyhow, costing us hundreds extra. We were suppose to get VW credit, which was on our contract, but instead they switched us to Capital One, which had a higher interest rate. We decided to pay off the car within three months. The car did not come with the correct Owners Manual. After many complaints with the dealer to send us a replacement, we finally had to lodge several complaints with VW Customer Relations. Dealership blew us and VW Customer Relations off, as they still would not send us the correct Owners Manual. After months of complaining, VW Customer Relations finally sent us the correct Owners Manual(took over 5 months!). Avoid this dealership like they are stockpile of nuclear waste. The dealership, and the sales person we dealt with, Sandi Negrau, are NOT worth the aggravation. You will live a longer and more fruitful life if you work with a different dealership! AVOID, AVOID, AVOID!!! More
