Just before we established that, she brought up another Rio (a 2023) … But right after she established the 2022 is an out of date listing (Which I said is “Completely undersrandable”) she brought up they have “brand new Kia Fortes!” I said maybe, but what about the ‘23 Kia Rio … She said {mind-blowing} “Like I said that’s on old listing, sir.”. … I said “No I mean the 2023, you said you saw.” - She said “I don’t see any Rio’s but we have Forte’s “. - See she doesn’t wanna sell me the Rio, she wants to sell me the Forte ~ They’re more expensive. I realized what she was doing (Doing as she was obviously trained), then quickly said goodbye and got off the phone. … I have a timestamped screenshot of the ‘23 Rio, for sale on their website, plainly visible. I called back, to the receptionist lady, I told her I wanted to leave a voicemail for the general manager - to let them know about this strange call. She proceeded to ask me for my Callback number, and claimed he doesn’t have a voicemail. I called “xx” on the idea he doesn’t have a voicemail, to receive messages, and got off the phone. OF COURSE you can’t leave him voicemails. .. Otherwise his message box would be full, every two days @ mid-day with messages of people complaining, about his lying sleazy salespeople on the phone. … 20something year old receptionist girl really got an attitude, too - doubling down to convince me the DEALERSHIP MANAGER doesn’t have voicemail. So 1. They train their sales people to lie … and 2. Train them (and gateway phone-answering girl) to think you’re stupid. So it is management’s fault … Two there people had unpleasant mornings, today, because of this training (And especially idea #2). Buy a Kia virtually anywhere else. Buy from Anchorage Kia, in Alaska, and pay for the car to be delivered, down through Canada, and I bet you’re probably better off. More
