I was thoroughly satisfied with the customer service and the price of my repairs. I brought my 2002 Toyota Camry to Girard Toyota Service for an oil change. This young man was extremely friendly and courteous, went the extra mile, took down all my issues with my car which were all related t not impressed. Other then them allowing the secretary to drive my Tundra into the garage for a scheduled oil change, and her bouncing it off another car and doing $2800 worth of damage, which they have tried to tell me I h into the garage for a scheduled oil change, and her bouncing it off another car and doing $2800 worth of damage, which they have tried to tell me I have to have repaired via them, I guess they are fine :(. When I complained about them letting this girl drive my truck, he told me "ALL our drivers have Ct licenses". So does my 16 year old neighbor but I don't allow him to drive my $35,000 truck! Now they are trying to deny paying for the damage unless I have the work done with them?? State law says "garage of my choice", see my lawyer Monday morning with all the estimates (from other Toyota dealer). Don't bring your car there for service. They told me they "are used to handling these situations". Hmmmmmm.....dent many customers cars??? More
While I haven't had any experiences with this dealership in relation to the sales department, I have had service done on my 2005 4-runner several times. Each time I bring the vehicle in for service the ser in relation to the sales department, I have had service done on my 2005 4-runner several times. Each time I bring the vehicle in for service the service reps are very cordial, respectful of time, and professional. I have only had one historical "not so professional" service experience at this location, but that was years ago and they remedied it quickly and without defensive discussion, or positioning. They revamped the entire service area which visually helps a lot. The service prices aren't the most competitive and you probably could find another auto service shop to do the same work for less, but that's the how it is at every dealership. Overall, I have to give them a good thumbs up on services provided. More
I didn't expect to make a deal on the 2008 BMW 328xi but we did a handshake deal on the car. I was very excited about the car and I thought Dave was pretty good the first day that I saw the car. The financing did take longer than I would have liked and was a very stressful period (5 hours) of time but I know that John worked the best he could after talking to him about the process later on. The only negative I could say is the constant joking from Dave that he should get a couple hundred dollars on the side because of the difficultly in the financing and the deal he thought I was getting on the car. I know he was joking but after such a large purchase on my part and the future payments I will have on this car I did not find it amusing. I also was disappointed the day I received my car for not getting new floor mats (used and pretty grey in some areas) and the gas tank being completely empty (warning light came on after I drove off the lot). Little things like that mean a lot and that left a bad taste in my mouth after I was pretty happy with getting the car. I have to say that I was very happy with the finance guy John. After not being able to get a hold of Dave several times I called him to discuss an issue I had with the warrantee. I found him very receptive, friendly, and I feel gave me a good deal that I was happy with in the end. I do love the car and overall am very happy with the purchase. More
