Giant Recreation World OB responded

It is always our goal to offer the best RV experience for all customers. Based on all of the information gathered for this response, it is simply a case of a small chain not being properly latched across the stairwell. There are no public areas upstairs, only private offices and a conference room, however, any one wishing to have access would certainly be escorted by our staff without issue. In addition, having "touched" the valve on a $175,000 motor home and causing the tank to drain may have caused our staff to be more brash than necessary. We understand that this situation made you and your family uncomfortable, and that was certainly not anyone's intention. We hope you find the RV of your dreams and have many happy years living the RV lifestyle. Tim Karr GM

If one of your staff members would have offered to escort my husband, we wouldn't be upset. His intentions were to learn and view the top of the RV. Some of your staff, at least three of them, could benefit from customer/people skills. It's a shame that it had to come to this, as I mentioned, we were ready to seriously consider the RV you have. No doubt we will find another, it's just a hassle we now have to deal with as you have lost our business.
