Had a couple of minor issues and questions after a couple of weeks - the service department had us come in right away and our service person - Ken - was absolutely terrific. He solved the issues and took the time to go over all of our questions - we learned a lot and really appreciated the care and attention to detail. More
Rocky Start, but overall GREAT experience for 1st RV My wife, and I had actually made an offer on an RV at another dealership when we got a call about a small class A from the receptionist at GRW. We wen My wife, and I had actually made an offer on an RV at another dealership when we got a call about a small class A from the receptionist at GRW. We went in and met with Eric, whom we had already talked to one other time. Before we looked at the class A he showed us a 2008 Coachman Concord class B+, that was there being cleaned up for a show. As soon as we looked at it we fell in love. After some haggling they sharpened their pencil, and agreed to meet the price we had offered on the other one. We are very happy with the unit so far. I have taken it back to the store 3 times in about 30 days for various things. One for small items they agreed to fix. One time for the air ride system which they replaced because of a defect, and the 3rd time it was discovered the coach battery had been bad, and they put in a new one. I would like to express my appreciation to the folks that work there for their knowledge, proffesionalism. attitude, and just the way they run their business. I will be telling anyone who asks about this GWR what a great dealership it is. Some of the people that helped us were Eric, Wendy Kevin, Phil, Kyle, Andy, and others, whose names I cannot remember. Kevin's co worker in service, several techs, the tiny receptionist with the sweet tooth. We would just like to say the whole operation is a team effort. Collectively someone had an answer for whatever question, or concern that I had. Even the girl cleaning, and stocking the drink box. They all went the extra mile. Rude, rude, rude. I had an appointment on a Tuesday at 11;00 am. At 1:00 I called Giant to see what was wrong, why they did not come. He told me it was raining and he I had an appointment on a Tuesday at 11;00 am. At 1:00 I called Giant to see what was wrong, why they did not come. He told me it was raining and he wasn't going to send someone up on my roof because it was raining. Ok, so don't you call your appointments and let them know that you won't be out. I was waiting for you. The person on the phone was rude. Never said when they would be out, just left me wondering. So, the next day at noon I called again, the person that answered the call said he would have to call me back. He had a tech call me to walk me through the system. The service person on the phone, does not let you talk. He talks over you. I explained that we had someone check our air conditioner and that they told us that it had to be replaced. Now, this person that told us that was an employee of Giant Recreation. However, Kevin didn't care. This unexceptable service. It's called no service. I told him that I have COPD and needed my air conditioner. I told him that the humidity really bothers me, he laughed, and said the humidity was low for here. I don't see the humor when I can't breathe without the air conditioner. We have bought 2 trailers from Giant Recreation and are good, good, customers. Well, I guess I would say that we arent' any longer. Yes, the other times we did get very good service, but as we all know that it's that 1 time that the customer service is bad, that's the one we remember. It's too bad that you lost a customer. More
