Sandy does internet sales. She did a great job working with me. The dealership was just like many nice dealerships in appearance. The price that I was able to get was better than any dealership in a three with me. The dealership was just like many nice dealerships in appearance. The price that I was able to get was better than any dealership in a three state area. I shopped by price since I do not have a Subaru dealership anywhere near my home. I was very satisfied. More
I bought my Legacy back in October. Sandy Jackson was the sales person and she was AWESOME! She went above and beyond while working with me in order to make the sale. She was honest and up front through the sales person and she was AWESOME! She went above and beyond while working with me in order to make the sale. She was honest and up front through the entire process. Sandy was so matter of fact and friendly, it was unlike any other car buying experience I had ever seen. She and the general manager Mark treated me like a long time friend. Sandy was attentive to my needs during the car buying process and has continued to be attentive, she calls from time to time to check up on me and the new car and has made herself available to all my dumb questions about the car from the bluetooth setup to the homelink garage door opener. I love my car so much that I have recommended Subaru's to all of my friends and family. Every time I recommend Subaru I always tell people to go to Gerald and ask for Sandy Jackson! The next car I buy will no doubt be a Subaru and Sandy will be the one to sell it. More
Bought a new 2010 Subaru Forrester at the end of August, 2010. The first vehicle we looked at on the web, turned out to have a few thousand miles on it. We were expecting one with little to no miles on it 2010. The first vehicle we looked at on the web, turned out to have a few thousand miles on it. We were expecting one with little to no miles on it. Sandy found another vehicle (in the same color and style) at another dealership and traded for it. It had less than 50 miles on it. I had several questions before we purchased the vehicle, mostly because I had never owned a Subaru before. Sandy got back to me promptly and answered all my questions. My biggest reason for recommending Sandy, in particular, is that the day I went to pick up my new Forrester, the auxiliary jack was not working so that I could not play my ipod through the vehicle's speakers. This was a big deal to me because we had had to make a decision on whether or get the satellite radio or the ipod interface. Since I wanted the satellite radio, I had been assured the auxiliary jack would still work for my ipod. By the way, Sandy did all this checking for us. The service department was not able to help us right then, so Sandy told me she would handle this for me. She did all the checking and legwork and had me bring the vehicle back in. The service department found out that the other dealership had not installed a wire that was needed for the jack to work. They got the job done promptly. However, if I had had to spend my time to talk to the service department, etc. to look at the vehicle, it might have been very time consuming. Sandy didn't forget about me after the sale. I've had to call her with a couple of questions since the sale and she has always had time to find the answer and get back with me. More
Sandy was great to deal with. My sales person always returned my phone calls and even personally picked up my new Subaru from a different dealership for me. I love my 2011 Legacy. I just Purchased my new 2011 Subaru Forester Friday evening and I cannot say enough wonderful things about the Gerald team. They were amazing, from Jason my sales guy to finance they are the best. I evening and I cannot say enough wonderful things about the Gerald team. They were amazing, from Jason my sales guy to finance they are the best. I have always been a chevy or GMC girl so I was a bit nervous making the move to Subaru and doing the deal from beginning to end by myself (with a 3 year old). The Gerald Team helped me pick out a great car and was very thorough, never pushy or trying to hide anything from me. They even helped keep an eye on my 3 year old so that I could take my time and make an educated decision since my babysitter fell through for the evening. I traded in my 2008 GMC Envoy Denali and while I can say it was a great car and I will miss it, I am truly in LOVE with my Forester. It is very roomy on the inside everything and I love everything that came with it. I looked at several other small/mid sized SUV's and for the price range, reliability and looks, the Forester was the best decision for me. I love my Subaru and am totally impressed with the Gerald Subaru of Naperville team - they now have a lifelong customer. More
So I needed a car cause my 11 year Mitsubishi just recently died. Went from dealership to dealership and could not find the right salesperson or car. Finally found a car I really liked and decided t recently died. Went from dealership to dealership and could not find the right salesperson or car. Finally found a car I really liked and decided to make the leap. The salesman "seemed" very nice and genuinely showed some sympathy. It was all a ruse. Told him my monthly payment range, he ended up raising them. Told me he could reduce the price, didn't take off a penny. I really needed a car and decided fine Ill just get it. Came back two days later to pick up, and found the tinted window now had a magical knick in it that wasn't there before and the car only has one key. Expressed my concern and the salesman said he would take care of it. Wrong, he doesn't give two shits about my needs or anyone else's. All the repairs and replacement parts will need to come out of my pocket which will add another 300-350 to my already out of budget purchase. I do not recommend this dealership at all. Stay far far away. More
Can you say bait and switch. Got a price on the web, dealt for 1 1/2 hours with the salesperson, she went to the Sales Manager who added $600 to the cost of the car for dealer installed extras I never a dealt for 1 1/2 hours with the salesperson, she went to the Sales Manager who added $600 to the cost of the car for dealer installed extras I never asked for. He was talked down to $300 by Sandy. After I refused and I asked for the car I was quote at the quoted price he stated "the internet pricing is just to get you in". There was now way to purchase a car at the quoted price. I made use of the door in the eit direction. THE DEALERSHIP IS KNOWN FOR THIS PRACTICE! STAY VERY FAR AWAY! More
We bought a 2005 Honda Accord (Used) from Gerald Subaru. We negotiated a price prior to tax. We had some questions prior to going into the business office of titling. Our salesman told us to ask Andre whe We negotiated a price prior to tax. We had some questions prior to going into the business office of titling. Our salesman told us to ask Andre when we go into the office. When we went into the office, he stated we negotiated a out the door deal and not pre-tax. So the final price was as is on Chicago Tax rate, and not the naperville tax rate 2.5% less. They pocketed the 2.5%. Andre did'nt even attempt to shake our hand after the sell, I will definetly not go there again. Very poor customer service. More
I bought my new Outback on 9.10.10, and can say that the service was very good, and there was very little pressure to buy something I didnt want. The price was excellent, the financing a breeze to walk thr service was very good, and there was very little pressure to buy something I didnt want. The price was excellent, the financing a breeze to walk through. All questions were answered, and the process was pretty painless. Buying a car is often an unpleasant experience, and one where I walk away thinking: 'what just happened?' I used a not-for-profit group called CarBargains to negotiate prices. Joe honored that, and really was friendly, and helpful. This is my second Outback (200K plus on the old one), and fourth new auto buying experience. I'd say this was the best new car buying experience Ive had. I'd encourage customers to do your homework, ask lots of questions, and do the math ahead of time. I'll shop at Gerald again the next time around. More
