After requesting online quotes from several different dealers, I have to admit that I was hoping to purchase a new vehicle at a dealership that was closer to my home. I had even gone to the closest one ( dealers, I have to admit that I was hoping to purchase a new vehicle at a dealership that was closer to my home. I had even gone to the closest one (in Joliet) to test drive a couple different vehicles that I was still deciding between. I was getting beyond frustrated when first I was told by the dealer in Joliet that the vehicle I wanted was not available without the additional packages. After much going back and forth he finally admitted I could purchase a Sorento without the extra package, but the only one available already had over 800 miles. And this was supposed to be a brand new vehicle! I went home and waited for several hours for him to contact me to let me know if there was another Sorento nearby without that many miles. I finally gave up on him and contacted Michael Gately at Gerald in Naperville. Michael had already called me a couple times since I had requested the online quote. Within 10 minutes he found me the exact vehicle that I wanted without trying to haggle me on extras AND he even went down on the price, which I was not expecting. It made me wish that I didn't pay so much attention to the location and drove the extra miles to Gerald from the beginning. It would have made my experience so much less stressful! I highly recommend Michael Gately at Gerald for a very pleasant car shopping experience!! More
Worked with Sandy Jackson and she was awesome. Overall I got the car I wanted for the price I wanted, even though there were only 2 vehicles in the whole state with the option that I wanted. My overall experience at the dealership was great. They didn't pressure me into buying a car that wasn't for me. They even gave me the option to take it to other dealerships to compare other cars against t didn't pressure me into buying a car that wasn't for me. Worked with Sandy Jackson and the experience was great from the start. I did my initial shopping online and had several dealerships contact me. Shopping and negotiating process couldn't have been easier and you can tell from the start that she really believes in and knows the product she sells. I purchased a new 2011 Subaru Outback last year from this dealer after receiving an internet quote on the exact make/model/options I was looking for. I went in expecting the worst but working with Sandy Jack dealer after receiving an internet quote on the exact make/model/options I was looking for. I went in expecting the worst but working with Sandy Jackson turned out to be a pleasant, laid back experience. She let me take my time to try it out to make sure everything was alright and answered all of my questions. As far as the actual buying experience the internet quote didn't include dealer installed options which I saw in the fine print but still felt a bit like a bait and switch given it wasn't something I was interested in and couldn't have removed. I negotiated on overall cost as I just cared about the bottom line and although it was some of the traditional back and forth make an offer sales stuff that I don't care for it wasn't too bad. So far i've been very happy with my car and Sandys been doing a great job following up with me so i'd recommend it based on my experience. More
