Was our 1st Subaru.on 14th we came in just to see what you guys had. No one bothered us, We asked Igor . He let us take it out & he explained everything about the car to us, was very knowledgable.We told him that my wife saw a 12 at Schaumburg Subaru. He said he'd like us to do business with him. I liked the 12 because it had a lot of features, & we would let him know either way by Monday.well Monday came & we needed a car . We went to Schaumburg 1st. Big mistake. I met the salesman WH helped my wife Rob G. Very sleazy in my opinion, he was complaining about his back the whole time, he should've stayed home, anyway when we started talking numbers, he got kind of belligerent.,well they tacked on fees for this & that.2500 more than car was priced. At his desk he was popping his gum & tapping his heels on the floor.when we came back with our offer they wouldn't take it, well we left.glad we did. We went to Gerald & saw Igor . We were in & out of there in2 1/2 hrs.he worked with us . Very relaxing didn't have to look over your shoulder.at Igors desk he has a pink sign that reads"No Negativity Here".sign was right, he treated us very well & professional, with class. We had to have some touch up work done by wheel well. We were given a loaner & body shop did a great job.Mr Gerald or whoever pls acknowledge & recognize Igor for being a fantastic sales associate , we hope and are sure we will do & refer business to you guys . After doing my research and reading online reviews, etc, I was ready to go out and test drive a few cars -- and Subaru being one of them. Mark Hoen greeted us on the lot and, even though it took me 3 trips to make up my mind, worked diligently in selling me the right car for my needs. I'll admit I wasn't an easy customer but their team was great and made me feel very relaxed and confident in my purchase. Chris, the sales manager, gave me a super deal for my purchase, as well as my trade-in. I love my Subaru Legacy 2.5i Limited. It took a little getting used to stepping down to a 4 cylinder but the pep and acceleration is amazing. I will definitely consider doing repeat business with Mark & Chris at Gerald Subaru in Naperville. More

I received a follow up call two days later to make sure if everything was okay, too. I truly appreciate that kind of service after the sale. The weekend after the purchase it snowed. Here it is March. Meteorological spring is here, yet we are getting a few more inches of snow and it could not have come at a better time. I have heard stories of the legendary Subaru performance in inclement conditions. I was shocked. I could not believe the amount of traction this car gets in the snow. Its like a cheetah in snow. Truly amazing. I know I probably will be a Subaru junkie for life. I am greatly appreciative to John, JZ, and Dean for all the help with this purchase. They worked hard to get me the deal I wanted. They pointed out the car's features, help set up the phone, and presets on the radio. Dean was good to give me a deal on the extended warranty and maintenance plans, too. That goes a long way. My wife tells me since we been together that I have gone through more cars than anyone she has ever seen and I can honestly say that won't be happening anymore, but when I buy my next car it will be a Subaru. The dealership seems to have the customer's best interests in mind. The time it took from walking in the dealership to leaving in my new car was less than 2-1/2 hours. I called XM radio to cancel my service plan today (about 5 days after trading in a vehicle) and they informed me that the dealership had already cancelled it 2 days ago! That's really going above and beyond my expectations. I highly recommend this dealership and if you have a chance, ask for Joe. More

It was the low mileage we needed, it was clean and fixed up, and it was the perfect car at almost exactly the price we wanted to pay. Brandon took his time with us. We never felt rushed. He was friendly and helpful. I'm a xxxx of a negotiator but he didn't break down under pressure :-) He answered all of our questions and when he didn't know the answer he found it out. I would recommend the dealership to a friend looking for a new or used car, and would send them to Brandon. More
Two weeks ago, I visited Gerald Subaru in Naperville for my first and only visit to this dealer. The sales person was very high pressure and I decided that I needed time to think about my purchase and weig my first and only visit to this dealer. Yesterday, I decided to move forward with the purchase of a Subaru and wanted to follow up with the sales person as to the new interest rate incentives announced by Subaru last week. I received the following e-mail from Glenn Miller at Gerald: "No we can't. Toyota will be better for you if all you are looking for is rate. I sell cars not rate. Dean worked for you that Saturday to get you the 1.9% because we wanted to help you out and earn your business, and even though we worked on it you didn't want to commit anyways. I say stick with Toyota. That's where your 0% will be. Good Luck." To say that I am disappointed and shocked at the response would be an understatement. I am sure Toyota will be thrilled that the Subaru sales person told me to go buy a Toyota but even that is questionable because does the new car industry really need one more female car shopper absolutely disgusted with the car buying process and bullying by a car sales person. My wife and I had gone to many dealerships, and Gerald was hands down the best in terms of price, friendliness and professionalism. When we knew we were going to purchase a Subaru Forester, we gathered a bunch of quotes from many dealerships, and compared them to the research we had done on truecar.com. Since we had done our research and shopped around, we knew that the price offered by Gerald destroyed the competition. The price was so low, that we didn't even need to haggle (this of course we knew because of our truecar.com research). You also get a great warranty included at no extra cost. We worked with Carlos Mendoza through the whole process. He was friendly, professional and prompt with communication. I highly recommend that you get your internet quote through him and work with him through the process. We will defintiely be in touch with Carlos at Gerald for purchases in the future. More
From the moment I called to inquire about a used vehicle I saw listed online, Brandon made himself available to help me in this process. I had done my homework before coming to see the vehicle, so I knew many of the ins and outs of the car, but Brandon had even more information specific to the model I was looking at to supplement. I never felt pressured, but we did negotiate for some time before we were able to find a price that could work with my budget (the only stressful part of the process). Again, very friendly and polite! Finally, the last piece that made my experience great overall was how I was treated the following day when I heard a strange noise coming from my newly purchased car (a new used car owners worst nightmare!). Brandon assured me he would take care of me, and he did! He put me directly in touch with a mechanic so that we could listen to the sound together and make sure we were on the same page. It ended up being a simple fix (rusted brake shoe), but they handled it immediately and prepared me for next steps should it occur again down the line. I drove away within an hour happy as a calm :) More
