Upon walking on to the lot, salesman John Pryor greeted my dad and I and was instantly ready to help us. He took the time to answer our questions and didn't make us feel rushed. I asked my dad to join me that day because he has bought several cars over the years. When my dad said that John was one of the top salesmen that he has encountered, that is a big compliment. John wanted to make sure we had a positive experience and that showed in all of his actions. Overall, the experience was top notch at Gerald. From beginning to end, we were happy with the service. To top it all off, I am driving a fantastic new car! More
Extremely Poor communication Though this review is a little delayed, I had been in the market for a new vehicle in early 2015 cross shopping the 2015 subaru WRX, VW golf GTI and f Though this review is a little delayed, I had been in the market for a new vehicle in early 2015 cross shopping the 2015 subaru WRX, VW golf GTI and focus ST. I had been in communication with the "internet sales manager" multiple times and had been informed as the wax was so new they did not have any and he would contact me when one became available. Upon inquiring a few weeks later I was informed that they had a new wrx with the cvt transmission available to take look at, thus we made an appointment to see it. I had confirmed again the morning 2 hrs before our appointment that the car was available. When myself and a close friend arrived at the dealership, the "internet sales manager was unable to speak with us" and the other salesman helping us said that the car had been sold and they did not have any other wrx to see. I do understand that conditions change, but it truly felt that these guys were thinking that they were selling a bentley rather than a 30,000 car. Unfortunately after that episode I took my business to vw and bought a GTI and my friend took his business to Audi and bought an s3. I truly wish gerald subaru had better communication and respect for their customers time. I really like subaru as a brand but my initial experience with them is soured due to this dealer. More

I was in a situation where I couldn't purchase right away, but wanted to proceed with my comparative shopping. Eric was genuinely friendly, unassuming and informative. He gave me lots of information for my research, in addition to providing me multiple options to consider. Eric kept my financial constraints in mind and at no time tried to pressure sell me into anything. I ended up finding another car that better suited my needs. However, I still highly recommend doing service with Eric and Gerald Subaru of Naperville. More

My salesman, Joe Haga, was courteous, efficient and fair. The process was smooth and straightforward. I never felt any undue pressure or aggressive sales techniques. Asim in the finance department took his time explaining all of my options and allowing me to make an informed decision regarding what is usually a very confusing decision making process. Being a loyal Toyota fan, I was pleasantly surprised by how nice the amenities were. My salesperson, Tina, was super helpful! She thoroughly explained all of the functions and capabilities of every car we looked at, and I fell in love with the 2015 Subaru Legacy! I will definitely be recommending Tina and Gerald Subaru! More
