Graduating college later this week, I neither had an extensive credit history or a true paycheck yet. However, Anthony was able to find me a deal that would cost me marginally more than what it would have cost to have a cosigner (which we decided beforehand should be my responsibility), based on my scheduling history at school and job offer letter. Additionally, Cristian was very responsive to any concerns me and my mom had regarding the car itself, as well as anything Subaru related. He came to the dealership to close out the deal on his day off, and even paid for some touch-up paint out of his own pocket to make sure I had everything I needed! I would recommend Gerald Subaru to anyone looking to buy a new, reliable car at an affordable price. More

I was impressed with their lifetime warranty which was why I felt it worth the drive to Naperville from Mount prospect to work with them even though there were many dealers in between I could have gone to. I'm glad I made the drive. Kelly Thomas was my dealer and she made me feel comfortable and welcome. She was very knowledgeable about the car and showed me features that other dealerships had failed to mention. She worked hard to find me the car I wanted and have it transferred from another dealership within the week so I could purchase it. I am very grateful to her and I recommend her. I worked with Asim Aslam for my financing. He and Kelly got me a great finance rate even though I have almost no credit to speak of. I was pleasantly surprised to get under the monthly payment I wanted. They offered me coupons and deals to make the extra options more affordable. This is a great dealership to work with. More

I had two other dealer who had the car in stock wanting to sell me my Crosstrek. I had a deposit on one. And the other was giving me a significant discount. But Leo's personality , knowledge and excellent customer service won my business. It takes time to build a connection with a client, Leo can do this in one phone call. You have the perfect person working for you. My family and I loved that he was bilingual. I know they will be calling on him for our next Subaru purchase. She immediately searched the dealership's inventory and found the vehicle which was located at a lot in North Aurora. I told her that I would like to see the car that afternoon in about one hour. Kelly immediately went to the lot, located the car, and brought it to the Naperville location. My wife and I arrived just as she was parking the car at the Naperville location. She warmly introduced herself and began to displaying the vehicle while answering our frequent questions. She then asked us if we would like to take it for a test drive. We did and loved the car. After our drive we sat down at her desk and she told us about the dealership. She also showed us a price tag that was on the car with a reduced asking price. Our conversation was more like a friendly visit rather then a negotiation session. Kelly was very helpful in providing information about an extended warranty and what our options would be. She then introduced us to Leo Katsnelson. who was able to provide us with pricing information on the extended warranty. Through the whole process we did not feel that we were high pressured to purchase the vehicle. Kelly and Leo put the price and our options on the table and it was up to us to decide. We actually left that day (Saturday) to think about the car and returned after the weekend to purchase the vehicle. We enjoyed working with Kelly, Leo, and Anthony Mazany (who did the final paperwork on the purchase). They are very professional in there approach to their customers. Because of this approach we would return to Gerald and recommend the dealership to our friends who might be interested in purchasing a vehicle. More

Every single person we interacted with was personable, professional, and did not look down on you. The salesperson I dealt with really was able to take the customer service experience to a level beyond what I was expecting. I absolutely recommend giving this dealership a shot and see if this is who you'd like to do business with. Below is my experience with Gerald Subaru of Naperville: I was on the search for a WRX in a specific trim, color, with all the right options -- this location was the only one that had THE car that checked all the boxes. Called ahead to see the vehicle was directed to Eric Zetterlof, one of the newer sales consultants at Gerald Subaru (more about the experience with him later). We drove an hour down to the dealership and met Eric, who was very personable and was not very pushy at all. He gave us space to take the time to really look at the vehicle while standing off to the side, ready to answer all the questions we had, including a brief discussion on Gerald Subaru's Lifetime Powertrain warranty. We did not discuss any of the numbers, but told him we'd be back the next day in the morning after assuring him we were very serious about purchasing this specific WRX (we missed out on another WRX at another location by only a few hours after dismissing that salesperson's comments about WRXs selling very quickly). His professionalism and un-pushy approach made us feel more confident in working with him in purchasing the car. We returned the following day at the promised time. While normally his day off, Eric came to the dealership ready to give us the full customer service experience Gerald Subaru had to offer. After another walkaround the vehicle, we started playing the numbers game. Eric maintained a professional demeanor that I seem to find lacking in many locations -- he did not berate us for our offers, did not become annoyed/frustrated at any point in time with us, his body language remained neutral throughout negotiations, and most importantly, he was very personable all throughout, from the second we stepped in the dealership to when we got in our newly bought WRX. After Eric going back and forth with the sales manager, Ubaldo Rodriguez, Ubaldo eventually came over and introduced himself after we started throwing serious numbers his way. A dynamic and personable individual, Ubaldo was not like the usual hard-headed sales manager that'll try to belittle you for throwing a less-than-desirable offer their way. He kept it professional, talked to us as if we were equals, and never raised his voice/berated us while we were negotiating. Eventually, he threw a number our way that we were able to agree upon. Once the numbers were sealed, we took the car out for a spin to make sure everything was in the clear. Right before test driving, we were introduced to the person who would handle financing, Anthony Mazany. He briefly discussed how the monthly payments will breakdown, how much we were set to finance, confirmed our down payment, and went over the terms on the vehicle (amount to finance, APR, payment terms). When we were in Anthony's office, it was required that the sitting was recorded to ensure compliance with Subaru guidelines in terms of offering every Subaru customer the same deals and information to ensure total fairness and uniformity across their customer base. I thought that was neat and haven't seen that anywhere else. He was patient as we reviewed all the papers, discussed the usual optional packages/protections you can add to your monthly payments, and made sure to answer our questions. As with Eric and Ubaldo, Anthony was very professional and very clear in discussing the details with financing. After the paperwork was finished, the vehicle was taken back to the service area to be cleaned and prepped. Meanwhile, we shared some stories and chit-chat with Eric. Again, a very personable salesperson. The vehicle was parked in front of the doors after being "cleaned" for us to walk around and inspect; however, a quick inspection revealed that there was still dust everywhere and some light scratches on the driver side front fender & door. While nothing significant, I mentioned these issues to Eric, who became clearly disappointed in the vehicle being presented in this manner. He immediately went to his manager to discuss and brought a porter over to take back to the service area to clean the vehicle properly, have the scratches buffed out, and the whole vehicle waxed. Eric was very apologetic the entire time and sincere about the error in presenting our newly purchased vehicle in a less-than-perfect condition. The vehicle came back after being freshly waxed and Eric went over all the spots that may have gotten missed and really made sure that EVERYTHING was clean and sharp -- it was clear he wanted to deliver nothing less than perfect to us and said that he'd discuss this mishap in correcting how new vehicle purchases are handled. Once everything checked out, we shook hands with Eric. Wished each other the best of wishes and parted ways. Talk about a pleasant experience -- even if it took a few hours! More

My trade in had a lot of negative equity so making a deal that was satisfying to me was a challenge. In order to make the deal work, he enlisted the assistance of Asim Aslam in Finance. It took a little back and forth between the Finance department and the bank, however in the end, the dealership's influence came through and I ended up with a great deal! I've dealt with many dealerships over the years, but this experience was hands down the best. I also noticed how they were dealing with other customers and I was impressed. I recommend Gerald Subaru in Naperville to anyone! More
