Recommendation of Salesperson Nicholas Gruic As a single, almost senior citizen woman, searching for a new car and making the rounds of dealerships can be somewhat intimidating. On my first visit to Gerald Subaru and introduction to Sales Consultant Nick Gruic, I was surprised by his youth. (I later learned that, to his credit, he is a full-time College student - a senior - earning his way through College as a full-time employee.) Though younger than most salespersons I had encountered, I soon discovered that Nick is very knowledgeable of Subarus and cars in general. He is the best kind of salesperson in that he understands from personal experience the challenge of deciding upon the purchase of a car, has thoroughly done his research (he drives a Subaru) and is sold on the product. His genuine personality and honesty immediately put me at ease. He was gracious and patient in answering my questions and took the time to allow me to test drive vehicles on two separate occasions to give me opportunity to confidently make a decision. There was never any sense of pressure, but merely his availability to assist in the process. When the decision was made to purchase a car, I felt like he was 'in my corner' when it came to negotiating the best price with his superiors and securing the best car for the money. After the deal was struck, he went over and above helping me move heavy boxes from my old car to the new, and seriously went to battle removing the license plates from my 19 year-old car to place them on the new one. He was gracious and kind throughout, and stayed hours after the usual closing time, to check in after the paperwork had been completed to insure I had all that was needed before leaving. I can wholeheartedly endorse Nick as an all-around good guy and someone who makes the car buying process as painless as it can be! I would also like to give a shout-out for his co-worker and sales consultant Cristian Alva for his helpfulness during a visit when Nick was unavailable due to other customers. I'm very pleased and grateful for my new car. More

Salesman was professional, knowledgeable & not pushy during our initial test drive visit. Price negotiation went very well - got a very competitive price but options seemed a bit high - we negotiated those down to everyone's agreement. Closing the sale was refreshing - no last minute tack-on crap like at the other dealer - care & service packages were pitched professionally without being annoyingly sold.
