Ehab was very I contacted Gerald Subaru about a purchasing a 2018 Subaru Outback for my wife. I was put in contact with Ehab Aref as my sale person. Ehab was very nice to work with. I let him know up front what features I was interested in on the car and the price I wanted to pay. Ehab worked hard to fulfill my requests without the awkward push for services that I was not interested in. Of course, he informed us of the additional options that were available, but if we gave a hard no, he left it at that, no pressure. I shopped around quite a bit and was in contact with many dealers in the area. Ultimately, the final decision to buy at Gerald Naperville was due to Ehab's upfront and honest approach. If you are in the market for a Subaru I highly recommend contacting Ehab. More

We researched well ahead of time, so we know the alternative cars and prices, and with that making the deal was painless. Two minor issues kept us from rating the dealership five stars: 1) We had to do a lot of sitting and waiting in our several visits, and we never knew why. 2) After our agreement to buy, there was a session in which the manager offered us additional options we had not known, which had the effect of pressure. We love the car, and the next time we're looking, we'll go back to Gerald! More

Great Subaru Buying Experience for Remote Buyer While I was shopping around for a car online, I was finding the experience to be very frustrating. However, when it came to Gerald Subaru, I've found While I was shopping around for a car online, I was finding the experience to be very frustrating. However, when it came to Gerald Subaru, I've found that the staff was accommodating, professional, and buying the vehicle went smoothly considering the situation. Today I'm still enjoying driving my new vehicle. I started off by inquiring about this certified pre-owned vehicle with Marie with Internet Sales over the phone. She was prompt, courteous, and did a very good job on following up. We discussed what the OTD price would be, completed the credit check, and set up the appointment to come in that Saturday. From there, she passed me over to Anna. When I arrived in Naperville, Anna led me through the rest of the process including a test drive of the new vehicle. She was friendly, very knowledgeable about the vehicle's features, and was able to answer all of my questions. Back at the office, we went over the remaining paperwork. With everything in order, she got the vehicle prepped to drive off the lot while I went in to finish up the purchase with Anthony. I went over the remaining financial paperwork with Anthony including loan documentation. He very clearly spelled out what each form was for and was able to confirm that the lien from the previous owner had been lifted. The process was painless, straight forward, and I was driving off the lot at 12:30, I received the loan documentation two weeks later along with the paperwork for the registration and tags by secure mail. My overall experience with Gerald Subaru was great and I would recommend it to any prospective buyer. More

Goo DO NOT BUY FROM GERALD - POOR MANAGEMENT - Focus is on SALES, but not the Customer. I bought a nice used 2014 Outback on Monday, Jan 29, 2018. Good experience with Salesman Jesse and Finance Manager Anthony. Tuesday, the Check Eng light came on. Called Dealer, Manager Leo, put me in a loaner and next day service said they reset the light. Thank you to Leo and Service. I wanted to return the car the next day and upgrade to a new or newer car. I told them before I bought it, I needed a safe car for my college son, and the worry was a used car and the check eng light, etc. No worries said the salesman, these cars are all checked out and carfax looks good. Management said sure you can return it, but it would be at Wholesale. WHAT! It's been a day! I even offered to upgrade to a new or newer car with them. I asked them one more time to buy back the car on Friday, put my down payment on a new car and don't charge me again for fees. Put it in writing and I would be in. I even chose a new 2018 vehicle for them to use for all the calculations. I asked them for line item $ detail in writing. And, if they could not do this and make me whole and have a good deal on a new car, then leave me alone and take me off all call lists. They have opted to not respond. And, at this point, I have had enough anyway. Suggest a different Subaru dealer and ask all dealers about return policies on a used vehicle within a few days, let alone next day. This was a big purchase for us and they could have bought this back and resold it and made money on this and the new one I would have upgraded too. But I'm done with Gerald and I had purchased 3 new cars from them when they were Oldsmobile. More
