I was wrong. John Smith from beginning to end welcomed me, fed me, and made sure that my experience at Gerald Kia was the best I would ever encounter at any car dealership. I purchased my 2011 Kia Forte effortlessly and I am living, laughing and loving on my new car each and everyday due to John's hard work and dedication to his work. This is why I have given Gerald Kia 5's all around because they are committed to excellence when it comes to good customer service. More
Took my vehicle in for service last week and right off the bat the service manager stormed my vehicle trying sell me every fluid service they offered. I would understand his concern... I love my Kia Soul, but really?! Let's wait till I've had more then 3 oil changes before you try taking my money. He was very rude from the get go and didn't seem knowledgable at all of the products the dealership had to offer, he even said that if I didn't get my tires rotated every time I visited, I would be forced to relinquish my warranty. I was irate at this point with all that had gone on before my vehicle was even touched by a mechanic I nearly walked out until one Adam Vandiver stepped in and showed me nothing but respect and an overwhelming plethora of know how. He made the visit more manageable for me and tried his best to repair the damages the service manager had made on my impression of the dealership. It seemed as thou all the technicians hated working there and that his manager skills unfortunately had transferred over to his team as well. I would like to thank Adam and all the Technicians for there help except for an older aged tech that made very rude remarks towards me that I overheard. He was telling another tech to check if his parts where ready, I think he was telling him to go up front towards me to look at my teenage daughter. I was disgusted at it and was thankful to have a kia so he didn't touch my vehicle being that he was a Subaru tech. All in all I would not recommend the dealership due to the fact that Mark showed me very little respect and also for the fact that my teenage daughter was eye candy and fealt very uncomfortable because of it. I just picked up my 2011 Optima EX today and I must say, I am very happy with the service and the car. Michael Gately got me a great deal and his honesty and integrity was not the norm in the pressured and I am very happy with the service and the car. We purchased a brand new kia optima LX. We were sent home with NO details of the sales. Very shady They tricked us by telling us that they are offering us a 1 yr free maintenance and for only 14 dollar a month we can get 5 yrs maintenance. but the really they charge me 1,000 for 5 yrs maintenance and when I call to cancel they told me I cannot cancel because it part of buying a CAR!!!. More
My intent that day was to lease a new car, I had my heart set on a VW Jetta but decided to just give the Optima a test drive. I got everything I wanted with the lease program and what I was expecting on my trade-in. Michael Gately was very easy to work with, he meet all my needs and even though my lease has a 3-year scheduled service, I will be using Gerald Kia to get my wife's Optima serviced as well. Got online quote for 2011 Kia Optima EX with Premium Pkg for $22,947 +TAX+TTL. They did not have in stock and asked me to get LX at discounted price. Kept pushing for LX and priced my required one (EX) way for $22,947 +TAX+TTL. They did not have in stock and asked me to get LX at discounted price. Kept pushing for LX and priced my required one (EX) way over than their quoted price (actually close to sticker price $24,749 +TAX+TTL). Basically, they have a glut of LXs and probably wanting to get rid of them but that's not the way to do it. We go online to save time and hassle of bargaining and finding vehicle availability instead of driving around. Overall, I would rate it a bad experience. More

I was first contacted by Sandy Jackson upon completing an internet request for quotes for a Kia Sorrento. I immediately received a few replies via email and one stood out. It was the reply from Sandy because it included quotes for he car I referenced. The others did not. Sandy followed up with a phone call a couple of days later, but I couldn't speak at the time. Later, I visited Sandy at Gerald Kia to check out the Sorrento and as it turns out, they also were a Subaru dealer. Our decision turned towards the Subaru Forrester for a number of reasons. Sandy worked with us to test drive the car, no pressure, no rush, just good solid information and answers to our questions. Her patience convinced me to give her an opportunity to match any offers as well as take advantage of Gerald's offer of lifetime power train warranty and other extras. Did some more shopping, checked out Consumer Reports and other ratings and price reports. Got other bids and went back to Sandy to see if her offer to match would be a easy as promised. It was that simple. I got what I wanted at the price I wanted and got some additional accessories and extended warranty as well. Thanks for the help Sandy! More
